Wedding Venue Open day… Southend Barns
Southend Barns is hosting a Winter Wedding Fair on Sunday 19th January – perfect for those couples looking for some seasonal inspiration!
The Chichester-based wedding venue, which opened in May 2012, boasts beautifully landscaped gardens and converted farm buildings that have been lovingly restored to create the perfect setting for a romantic civil ceremony or memorable wedding reception.

With the venue being able to accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated dinner and 200 for the evening reception is has quickly become the wedding venue of choice for local couples getting married.
Following on from the success of their inaugural Wedding Inspiration Fair in September, the Winter Wedding Fair has been designed to inspire Brides and Grooms who want to create a winter wonderland themed day for friends and family to remember forever.
Mariella Fleming, owner of Southend Barns, has handpicked wedding suppliers offering high-end and distinctive services. She says ‘the chosen suppliers have all been tried and tested by some of our own wedding couples here at Southend Barns, and will be on hand to showcase their services and answer any questions guests may have’.
The Winter Wedding Fair will cover every wedding aspect, with suppliers being spread across both the Dairy Barn and the Threshing Barn. The plethora of stands will include videographers and photographers, wedding stationers, cake makers, musicians and stylists, to name just a few!
Remembering that the day is all about inspiration, different winter themes will also be explored offering guests a chance to pick up on the latest trends and offer an insight into how they could theme their own big day.

There will also be live musical entertainment at the event provided by Toast Functions and Field & Fork, the resident caterers at Southend Barns, will be available to talk about the dining options they offer while also serving up refreshments in their onsite café.
To top the day off, each guest will receive a free goodie bag to take home, filled with useful information and ideas.
Entry is free to all guests, and doors are open to the public from 10.30am until 3.30pm – if you need any more information, the team at Southend Barns are more than happy to help!
