The National Wedding Show is the UK’s longest running wedding show and is established as the go-to event for planning your wedding day. With 150+ wedding specialists at each location you’ll be sure to meet the best suppliers who can make your dream day a reality.

Attending a Wedding Show like this is almost a rite of passage for every bride! Whilst I wholeheartedly recommend the venue open days and smaller, niche fairs there’s something rather spectacular about a show on this scale. The National Wedding Show was actually the event I attended with my Mum when I was engaged – it was a great day out fuelled with inspiration and champagne!

Personal recommendations aside, I also know that a few of our lovely venues will be at this event so it’s a great opportunity to meet with them if you’re still at the venue hunting stage!

The 4 events this season take place on:

  • Olympia London, 20th – 22th September
  • NEC Birmingham, 27th – 29th September
  • ExCeL London, 12th – 13th October
  • Manchester Central, 26th – 27th October

Highlights from the upcoming shows

‘Grammable displays showcasing suppliers’ skills

Wedding suppliers don’t do anything by halves! With everything from transport to catering, stationery and everything in between there will be some truly stunning displays. Cake makers will bring their most extravagant bakes, stylists will display show-stopping tablescapes and singers and performers will be keeping everyone entertained – some of the cast from Magic Mike will even be appearing at the Olympia London event. Take a peek at some of the confirmed suppliers here.

The wedding runway show

There’s no better place for wedding fashion inspiration than seeing them walk down the runway. The catwalk showcases upcoming bridal trends as well as classic styles from some of our favourite boutiques and designers. And it’s not just about the bride… Groomsmen, bridesmaids and mothers of the bride will also be treated with styles for the whole party on the runway.

Make a beeline for the bubbly

No trip to a wedding show is complete with a glass of fizz! Take a break from wedding planning with a trip to the dedicated Champagne Bar. If you’re looking to add a little more luxury to your day why not book the VIP experience? VIP tickets include a glass of bubbly, access to the VIP lounge, fast-track entry to the show, a VIP goody bag AND reserved catwalk seating so you can get the best Instagram angles! The goody bag will include a mini JP Chenet bottle, Lancôme makeup and products from Candy Kittens, Essie and more… Book VIP tickets here and save £10!

Find your dream dress

Now you have found your bride or groom-to-be it’s time to turn your attention to wedding dress shopping! Your favourite catwalk dresses will be available to try on around the show as well as hundreds (yes, hundreds!) of other bridal styles. Bridalwear experts will be on-hand to help you find the perfect fit and fabric.

Top menswear brands will also be on hand to make the groom look their very best on the big day. Some brands bringing their groomswear to the shows include Cad & the Dandy, Hawes & Curtis and Marc Darcy.

At-show discounts and exclusive competitions

Wedding shows are the perfect place to bag a bargain and suppliers will be offering exclusive deals to help stretch your budget further.

Featured offers:

  • The Lodge in Brighton will be offering one lucky bride or groom the chance to win a hen or stag weekend or up to 12 guests
