A few weeks back, on a rather romantic weekend in February, I was invited to join a gorgeous group of ladies at the ever-so-charming ‘Chapel’, also known as Miss Bush in Ripley, Surrey. This quirky, cute and really rather divine setting was to be the grand stage for Gemma Milly’s Calligraphy Workshop and gosh was is pretty…
Beautiful gowns surrounding us aside, a table was laid with shimmering chevron sequins courtesy of Gilded Linens, personalised pink place settings and the prettiest of tulips and anemones – all thanks to The Wedding Stylist. I must also mention the perfectly placed corner of sweet treats by Honeywell Bakes & A Cup of Vintage, I had my eye on the cupcakes!
Calligraphy is a love, you may have noticed we use the odd touch here and there! So when the opportunity came up to put it all into practice, well I jumped at the chance. Gemma is offering these workshops to everyone – from Brides-to-be wanting to add a bit of DIY into their wedding planning, to Brides & Maids looking for a pretty yet practical activity for an alternative hen party, through to wedding industry pros wanting to perfect the art.
It’s with great excitement that I can announce one of the next workshops will be held on Sunday 26th April at our very own Millbridge Court – a beautifully contemporary barn in the village of Frensham, Surrey.
