I can only describe the flowers of January as having a wonderful delicacy but a reticence to show off!

Picture the perfect nodding heads of Snowdrops emerging through the snow – for the most striking arrangement simply display in hundreds of Edwardian glasses.

Likewise the stunning hellebore, they hide their heads in the garden but place them floating in a crystal bowl and their exquisite beauty can be seen by all.

Then there are the dainty violets – what these diminutive flowers lack in stature they certainly make up for in style; what could be more perfect than a posy of these beauties contrasted against a white fur stole?

So if you are looking for flowers for a Winter wedding look carefully, look beyond the obvious, look for the exquisite beauty which is all around…
