The Setting
Woodmancote Place is an historical manor nestled within beautiful parkland, green lawns and a private deer park. The manor was once owned by Countess Goda in 1066 and Edward Seymour, Henry VIII’s Lord Protector of the Realm.
The current owners lovingly restored this family home and family-run business, making it a beautiful and exclusive venue for your wedding day. The Regency facade of the manor is adorned with fragrant roses and wisteria, providing the perfect backdrop for your style and vision. The vast grounds offer unparalleled flexibility, with eight-foot palm trees and ancient yew hedging providing the perfect framing for your ceremony, drinks reception or photos.
The Vibe
Woodmancote Place offers 150 acres of possibilities for a bespoke wedding experience. The manor’s private deer park, sprawling parkland, and green lawns offer an unrivalled level of flexibility to create a wedding tailored to your unique vision.
Couples looking for a traditional church ceremony can opt for St Peter’s Church, a beautiful Norman church within the manor’s grounds that can seat up to 175 people. Alternatively, a celebrant-led ceremony can be held in any corner of the expansive grounds.
Four stunning lawns offer a range of scenic vistas and can be used for the ceremony, drinks reception or marquee. The Manor House lawn, the deer park lawn with its picturesque lake views, the elevated croquet lawn nestled within an avenue of trees, and the lake view lawn with the widest expanse of space, all offer the perfect backdrop to make lasting memories. The venue’s sailcloth tent, positioned on one of the four lawns, offers breathtaking views of the Deer Park, lakes, and Manor House.
