Tipi
The Nordic Tipis are a robust product, beautifully rustic, and need very little styling. They come alive at dusk with twinkly fairy lights that transform the space into the ultimate party atmosphere. The Tipis provide an interesting space with their wooden poles and different layouts. It’s a blank canvas for creating your personalised, bespoke event.
Sailcloth
Their new sailcloth tent offers an alternative structure for your outdoor celebration. Standing at a height of over 7m, it can provide up to 100% clear window walls, letting in natural light and offering views across your venue. After much research, they have chosen a British-manufactured structure designed with the British weather in mind, withstanding wind, rain, and, let’s not forget sunshine!

Absolutely fantastic! My wife and I had Sami Tipi provide a Nordic Tipi tent for our wedding and they were amazing. I can’t express enough how wonderful Jodie and the Sami Tipi team are. Jodie made the whole process so easy. She also made us feel so special and like we weren’t just another number but that they deeply cared about our wedding. They gave us so much great advice – from tips on how to save to pointing us in the right direction for wonderful unique suppliers. The Tipi itself was so magical and made our wedding the day we dreamed of.
After seeing the Sami Tipi van whilst stuck in a traffic jam, I thought ‘that looks like a good idea for our wedding’. Before we knew it, we were attending an open day, and that basically sealed the deal. Once we saw the setup they offered, there was no going back for us.
The booking process and online meetings went very smoothly. The only problem is trying to decide from the vast amount extras you can add to your package. The day came when the team arrived to put up our two big hat tipi. We were blown away to finally see it all come together.

From the moment we made an initial inquiry to our wedding day they were the epitome of professionalism. They know they’re business inside and out and listened to what we wanted whilst using their expertise to offer honest and realistic opinions about what worked best. Our venue were really impressed with their communication and friendliness during site visits and setting up/taking down (they also powered through and set up the tipi on the second hottest day on record!) Champions to the end!

We used Jodie and the gang to supply the tipi for our wedding in June 2019 and they were amazing. They are far more than “just a tipi supplier”. The service makes you feel like the only client. Their knowledge of the industry and local suppliers is fantastic and it’s thanks to them we had such amazing food and a wedding car. The service throughout the whole process was second to none and the help to work around the weather was massively appreciated, especially when it’s a busy weekend for them too. We are so happy that we found Sami Tipi when we started planning our wedding. From start to finish they were totally amazing. Jodie was on hand whenever we needed and made the whole progress of planning a wedding a lot less stressful than we initially thought, especially as we lived abroad for most of the planning. We were able to have video calls with Jodie along the way which was such a great help, she is super organised and we came away from each call feeling less anxious and more excited for our day. Even though they must be planning so many weddings at once you really felt like they cared and wanted give you the best. The tipis themselves are stunning as is all the furniture and extra bits we hired from from Sami Tipi, they have thought of everything, which is exactly what you want when planning your wedding! We hired our caterers, bar service, florist, celebrant and props hire all through Sami Tipis recommendations, who were all amazing too and it was great to know that we had hired people who had worked with Jodie and the team before, this took away the stress of hoping everything ran smoothly on the day. We highly recommend Sami Tipi if you are looking to have an outdoor wedding, they really did so much to help us have the perfect day. They truly made it the best day for us and we are so grateful!
Sami Tipi from the outset were brilliant – Jodie and Craig, and team, were able to help us bring our vision for our rustic wedding alive and when we decided we needed a slightly bigger tipi were able to help us out with ideas to furnish it. It looked absolutely brilliant on the day and our guests loved it, especially the fire pit – the tipi was full with people drinking, laughing and having fun which is exactly what we wanted! An amazing part of our day – I just want my own permanent tipi now!

We expected to hire Tipis, but we discussed the whole day which helped no end. We got so much advice about how to make our day special, and what we needed to do. Jodie, Craig and the team couldn’t have been more excited for our day and were such a pleasure to use. Nothing was too much trouble. Our plans evolved and they accommodated. The communication throughout was second to none. Can’t recommend highly enough. Our day wouldn’t have been anyway near as special without their contribution.
We had the absolute pleasure of having Sami Tipi supply the tipi for our wedding at Cattows Farm in July 2024. Jodie and her incredible team went above and beyond to help us create the perfect day. The showcases they offered beforehand were immensely helpful, providing us with a clear vision and valuable ideas for our setup. Our whole wedding experience with ST was a total dream; fantastic communication, flawlessly organised, totally transparent about all aspects such as logistics, costs, requirements etc. At no point were we misinformed at all. So highly experienced. Jodie guided us on how to host a wedding for 120 guests perfectly. Craig & co set up the tipi’s SO fast and with ease that it still amazes us all!! We put all our trust in them and they were fabulous, hands down the best.

For a Saturday celebration, set-up days are Wednesday or Thursday. Occasionally, we may do this on Tuesday. We always want to give you at least Friday to add personal touches to the space.
Our takedown days are Sunday lunchtime or Monday morning, giving you time for brunch with your guests on Sunday morning before we arrive.
Your venue may dictate the setup and takedown days, so always clearly understand when you have access. The days will always be pre-agreed with you and the venue, so we all have a clear plan.
To make your outdoor event function, you will require power and toilets. If your site does not offer power or organise the hiring of an event generator, we can do this for you. If you would prefer to organise your own generator, we will advise you on our power requirements. We also work with a number of luxury toilet hire companies. We are happy to coordinate the hiring of these for you, or we can recommend suppliers we have worked with in the past.
Yes, we have a number of open events throughout the year where you can see the Tipis and Sailcloth in all their glory. You'll be able to see what they look like when they are all lit up at night, perfect for imagining how your evening reception will look and feel. You can walk around inside and get a feel for what kind of arrangement you want for your wedding.
100% yes! We know that you might change your mind, and it really is OK! When you come to one of our open events, you might prefer round or long tables. You can swap them; it's not a problem. We fully understand that your ideas will change and develop over time. We will ask you to finalise all of your hire items at your final planning meeting, which is six weeks before your big day.
We like to do it six weeks before, as this is when you would normally have all of your RSVPs back.
Our team is always available by phone or email whenever you need us. In addition to this, we would like to formally offer two planning meetings.
These tend to be six months before the big day and a second one six weeks before. This is time together to work through your timeline, guest needs, and supplier needs, and from this, we can then begin to create a floor plan that works for you.
