Since 2002, Paintworks has been breathing life into South Bristol – a hugely successful brownfield renovation project from what was formerly a decaying, disused industrial site. Now a thriving place to live and work, the Event Space brings art, culture, community and business needs to life.
The mixture between new and old, stone and wood, makes Paintworks little alleys the perfect spot for creative pictures.
Paintworks Events Space is located in the heart of Bristol’s creative quarter, close to Bristol Temple Meads train station and with direct bus lines to the city centre.
The Vibe
Paintworks offers a blank canvas where no two weddings are the same.
It’s flexible, relaxed and stylish, perfect for a DIY wedding. You can bring in your preferred suppliers, hire furniture, and decorate ceilings, walls and outdoor spaces. There really aren’t many restrictions to what you can do.
The team have seen all sorts of themed weddings, Viking-themed winter weddings, 1950s Hawaii hula feel, and even a Halloween-inspired wedding! Their wedding manager, Eider, will be on hand to guide you through all the wedding planning steps and can suggest different layout and decor ideas to suit your requirements.
Their caterers, Relish, are superb and can offer a wide variety of cuisines and service options, from sit-down meals to BBQs, grazing stations, or live cooking stations.
