Setting
Lapstone Barn is a traditional 18th-century stone barn recently converted into a stunning wedding venue. It is set on a peaceful Cotswolds hill, just a five-minute drive from Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire.
Ceremony
Traditional church or something civil…
Create an intimate and memorable ceremony for up to 200 people with the music and decorations of your choice. They are licensed for civil ceremonies, partnerships, blessings, and renewals of vows.
Your ceremony takes place in the Grade-II listed Stone Barn with its oak floors, thick timber beams and natural acoustics. Alternatively, head into the beautiful courtyard garden for an intimate ceremony for up to 200 people under Cotswolds skies. If you’d like a traditional ceremony, one of England’s finest churches is less than two miles away.
Reception
Bespoke and beautiful
Floor-to-ceiling glass windows flood the reception room, Northwick Barn, with light as you and up to 150 guests fill it with love. The views over the courtyard are enchanting, and the inside space is a sweet spot for magical photos.
With 2,000 square feet to play with, you can layout the room as you like – long tables or round tables – and style it with the theme of your choice; they have a list of preferred suppliers to help you create something truly breathtaking.
Accommodation
Just a stone’s throw from the barn, Lapstone Cottage is their newly renovated honeymoon cottage – the perfect little rural bolthole for your wedding night.
Guests can also return to a luxurious night’s sleep at Lapstone Farmhouse after partying the night away. The new Stables development, including a new bridal suite and individual bedrooms, is now open. Relaxing and stylish retreats for you and your guests!

Food & Drink
The choice is yours
The team at Lapstone Barn can produce mouth-watering canapés, three-course gourmet menus, and shared dining platters-you really will be spoilt for choice! They also have a delicious range of Late-Night Snacks to keep your guests going all night long. Their menus start from just £55 per head and include VAT, staff costs, white linen, crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
There’s a fully stocked bar at Lapstone Barn, with experienced staff able to advise on the best wines and champagnes to match your tastes. Choose from their extensive wine list, or select one of their carefully chosen drink packages. Alternatively, you are welcome to bring your own wine and champagne for the Reception Drinks, Wedding breakfast and toast, for which there is a corkage charge of £12 per head (for 2024).
After dinner, The Tanners Bar will be open, and your guests can select from a wide range of drinks available.

Lapstone Barn is set on a peaceful Cotswolds hill just 5 minutes’ drive from Chipping Campden in the North Cotswolds, Gloucestershire.
Chipping Campden itself, with its curving main street lined with ancient biscuit-coloured limestone houses, is said to be one of the loveliest small towns in the Cotswolds – if not the whole of England.
Getting There
Chipping Campden is very well connected thanks to its central Cotswolds location just south of Birmingham, Northeast of Cheltenham, and Northwest of Oxford. Your guests can reach it easily by car (from the North and South via the M40), bus, and train (the nearest station is Moreton-in-Marsh).
