The Kingston Estate is a hidden gem nestled deep in the South Hams countryside near Totnes in South Devon. The estate is luxurious, relaxed and informal where couples and guests are encouraged to make the 35 acres their home for the duration of their stay. The estate is Georgian, with the mansion house having been built in 1735. It boasts high ceilings, marble fireplaces, original wall paintings and a vaulted basement where you can party until the early hours. The grounds include two stunning south-facing walled gardens; one perfect for your wedding ceremony and one for eating alfresco-style.
On the estate there is also a huge party yurt, a cool, street food shed, a rustic ceremony barn with eight chic chandeliers, a courtyard cocktail bar for a festival feel vibe along with a Hayloft Barn big enough for 200 guests with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the gardens and surrounding countryside.
The accommodation on site has been thoughtfully renovated with tasteful interiors, original features, and a meticulous attention to detail. The main house, cottages and barns sleep up to 100 guests in total, making it a comfortable retreat in which to reside, whilst enjoying every moment of the big event. There are also hot tubs scattered there and there, with plenty of parking available on site along with an overflow car park.
The Kingston Estate is situated a ten-minute drive from Totnes, where there are trains running to and from Paddington every hour. There is also easy access to Exeter and Plymouth, both approximately 40 minutes away by car.
The Kingston Estate is an exclusive wedding party venue with a difference.

They are committed and passionate about food and its provenance, opting for organic and seasonal ingredients wherever possible, sourced from local farms and suppliers who support sustainable and environmentally-friendly initiatives. Not because it’s trendy and cool, but because it’s the kind of products they want to serve, respecting the nutrients and integrity of the food that nourishes them.
