Situated on a family farm on the Dorset/Somerset/Wiltshire border near Gillingham, this venue offers the opportunity to create your own unique dream wedding in relaxed, rural surroundings with far-reaching views.

The idyllic site, amidst 25-acres of centuries old organic pasture, is a truly stunning setting that is completely private and quiet with no visible buildings or overhead wires. From the scenic and spacious marquee reception area, beautiful rustic wedding ceremony barn, wonderful woodland ceremony area to stunning photographic opportunities, Hayhouse Farm will make a magnificent backdrop for your celebrations.

The Vibe

A winding path through the bluebell wood leads to a magical clearing containing rustic benches for up to 140 people, where your personally created ceremony can take place under a natural canopy of leaves. Alternatively, their licensed ceremony barn for up to 160 guests offers authentic rustic charm with exposed beams, original brickwork and even a tree trunk.

For those wishing to dance the weekend away there is ample space and opportunity with separate fields for the reception area and car park. There is another adjacent field for those who wish to camp or go all out glamping in hired bell tents, yurts or tipis.

They have a wonderful traditional white canvas pole marquee that seats up to 160 people that you are free to decorate as you wish, along with a selection of tables and vintage accessories to help create your unforgettable wedding.

A storage stable with vintage accessories, tea, coffee, fridge and freezer is available throughout your wedding weekend, as well as mains electricity and water. There is no charge for corkage.

They only hold a maximum of six weddings each year, which means your celebrations will be totally bespoke and exclusive to you.
