We had the most wonderful wedding weekend at Broadfield. We stayed here from Friday to Sunday with our bridal party, which worked so perfectly for allowing us to have time to set things up, and spend quality time with loved ones. The house feels so homely, with each room having its unique character. So much thought has been put into every room and every little detail, which really pays off. We felt very settled there right from the start. The setting and grounds are simply beautiful, typical peaceful Herefordian countryside. Helen and the rest of the team were very attentive on the day – nothing seemed like too much to ask, which really helped it to run smoothly. We will be highly recommending Broadfield (persuading all of our friends to have their weddings here!) to everyone we know! Thank you Helen, John, Alex, Frances and everyone else involved in making Broadfield so special.

Our wedding was magical. The house was beautiful and unique, the grounds were glowing in the May sunshine and the team at Broadfield were completely incredible throughout. We will be forever grateful for all of their help and so happy that we found this hidden gem of a venue. The weekend hire allows you to really enjoy your wedding and the flexibility means that no two Broadfield weddings are the same, a truly bespoke experience! They have great relationships with other suppliers which eliminates the stress of not having a full wedding package. I cannot wait to book again for a weekend at this stunning venue! We will be forever grateful for all of the help and guidance Helen and the team provided in the very long run up to our wedding

Broadfield Court is set in a wonderful rural location with stunning views from the house and gardens. We were wowed by it on our first viewing, and so were our guests on the day. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. The house facilities are fantastic and provide all that you could need for a stay.

The Broadfield Court team are wonderful and fantastic at what they do. We were looked after by Helen, who supported us through the process well and was very organised. We utilised as many local suppliers as possible, some of whom were on the recommended supplier list and all of whom we were very pleased with. We were allowed to bring in some of our own also.

Broadfield Court allowed us a lot of flexibility in what we wanted to do as an exclusive-use venue. The service was very personal, which we found very refreshing after visiting a lot of venues. We had the venue for the weekend which allowed us and our chosen guests to enjoy time together in the house, set up and pack down without a rush and whilst everyone always says it goes by so fast, we did not feel that way.

We had a woodland wedding with tipis on the lawn. The staff were very helpful in setting up and packing down which was greatly appreciated, and all were very friendly.

We can very confidently recommend this venue to you.

As soon as we visited Broadfield Court, we knew that this was where we wanted to get married. It was clear how versatile the setting could be and how much we would be able to create our day just the way we had pictured it. We loved being able to use so many of the beautiful areas of Broadfield, both around the house and especially in the gardens, throughout the weekend of our wedding. The setting is so naturally beautiful that it needs very little decoration. It also took a lot of the worry out of planning a UK wedding, knowing that the inside of the venue was just as beautiful as the outside.

Being able to stay onsite throughout the weekend with some of our closest friends and family was a particular draw, especially as all the rooms are beautifully presented while also feeling homely and comfortable. The wedding day itself was so much more relaxed, knowing that all the most important people were already onsite.

Throughout the process of planning, the level of organisation from the Broadfield team, especially Fran, was exemplary. She was prepared for any eventuality and completely open to our ideas. She made the planning process extremely easy for us and could not have been more helpful, going above and beyond to make sure that not only the day itself but our entire weekend at Broadfield ran smoothly. Fran and Alex were consistently upfront about any additional costs, but overall, we cannot over-emphasise what excellent value Broadfield Court is: all our guests commented on how beautiful and peaceful it is and enjoyed exploring the house and grounds. We would highly recommend Broadfield Court.

When we started wedding planning, choosing a venue felt like a minefield. We wanted something where we could celebrate our own way. Broadfield was everything and more.

From the moment we contacted Broadfield, we knew we were in safe hands. Fran took us through each step of the wedding planning, allowing us to explore how we wanted to celebrate our day whilst always being on hand to provide advice. Broadfield allowed us to bring personal touches from bringing our own booze from our travels, having our dog by our side and, most importantly, choosing food that suited our budget and our vibe without it being prescribed to us!

The venue itself is stunning and feels so unique. With so many options for ceremony, drinks, and dancing, I’m 99% sure that every wedding at Broadfield is completely different to the ones before. Importantly, the venue also allowed for spaces where elderly relatives were able to take breaks through the day without them missing out. It really felt like a home away from home.
We highly, highly recommend it!

The most incredible setup and stunning setting for a weekend wedding, family-owned Broadfield has such a personal feel yet professional execution!

Having been to see a few venues, we found everything so commercial that could fit over 150 people and had just about decided we would try and do something at home. Then we came across Broadfield, walked in and chatted with Fran and the team, and it was immediately obvious this was the place and the people! The smoothest process of planning, brainstorming and running on the day – so many guests commented on what an incredible hidden gem Broadfield is and asked how we found it. The house is amazing, though the gardens are equally so. We had a June wedding and spent almost all our time outside, but inside is also gorgeous for a colder season! All the rooms and unique and beautiful, too. Couldn’t recommend it as a venue and team highly enough. We’ll probably rent it for a future anniversary party just to be able to spend more time there!

We couldn’t have picked a better venue for our wedding. The grounds are stunning, surrounded by picturesque countryside. The house is beautiful, with so much care and attention paid to every room. We really loved being able to stay at Broadfield with our friends and family before and after the wedding. What made Broadfield truly great was the work that the venue’s Director Frances did both before and on the big day to ensure it was a success. Working with Frances in the run up was so easy, she was so great at helping us find suppliers and think through the day. Her help really allowed us to put our own stamp on the occasion. We had planned to have much of the day outside, but unfortunately the weather turned wet at the very last moment. Frances went above to work out how we could adapt our plans for the wet weather. Couldn’t recommend Broadfield highly enough.

What an incredibly special venue Broadfield is. We got married in Bishops Frome church and held our reception for 170 people at Broadfield. Bubbles in the rose garden followed by the wedding breakfast in Tipis (Java Tipis) on the lawn. People were exploring, playing croquet and cricket, it was all so amazing. All to the backdrop of beautiful Herefordshire countryside.

Fran and Alex were insanely helpful from start to finish, liaising with suppliers, setting everything up and ensuring the whole day ran smoothly. Most of the suppliers (Tipis – Java Tipis & Caterers – A 2 Zest) came recommended by Broadfield and couldn’t have been better. We cannot thank them enough for all that they did.

We had the house from Friday to Sunday and both of our families were able to stay in the gorgeous rooms for the whole weekend which was perfect.

We had our wedding at Broadfield in July 2022 and it was simply the loveliest weekend. It’s owners (particularly Frances) could not have been more helpful – she made the whole wedding planning experience totally easy and stress free & we felt very reassured on the day knowing she was there to ensure everything went smoothly. She is just fab! The venue itself is so so beautiful.

We wanted something special but not too austere/fussy and that’s exactly what Broadfield is – you’re made to feel completely at home there. So many of our guests commented on how lovely they found the venue. We honestly couldn’t have chosen a better venue & I would highly recommend it. We can’t wait to return for house stays for anniversary. Thank you so much Broadfield!

From start to finish, everything about Broadfield was amazing. Frances and Alex were so incredibly helpful throughout Covid and the multiple postponements we had to cope with. The venue itself is glorious. We couldn’t have asked for more to make our wedding perfect. We’d do it all again in a heartbeat. Perfectly perfect!

Fantastic wedding venue! We had our wedding here in July, Fran and her husband Alex are incredibly attentive and Fran was particularly helpful guiding us through all the logistics of organising a wedding.

Fran was super quick to reply to any queries or changes we wished to make which made the process all the less stressful. This in itself was worth it’s weight in gold, especially considering you can be waiting several days for some suppliers to get back to you.

Venue is lovely with amazing gardens, woodland area and the house has real character. It’s the perfect balance between a homely feel but also high quality and a place you feel sad to leave.

We loved the venue and experience Fran and Alex provided so much that we plan to return for a long weekend in the near future. Would highly recommend.

Broadfield was the first venue we visited, and the search for the perfect wedding venue was over. We instantly fell in love with the charming interior and breathtaking grounds.

The wedding planning process was extremely smooth and stress-free. Fran was very attentive and talked us through our multiple options on how our wedding day could pan out. You can really tailor your wedding day to your unique style. We chose to have a woodland ceremony and drinks reception in the rose garden and hired two tipis for the lawn, which created a perfect space for dining and dancing, enjoying garden games and trips to the Broadfield bar for refreshments! The day ran like clockwork, and the Broadfield team were always on hand if we needed anything.

Our guests were as much in awe of the venue as we were, and we received so many comments on how beautiful our wedding was. We stayed at Broadfield from Friday to Sunday, which elongated our wedding to a whole weekend. We loved the fact we had accommodation for all of our immediate family and also our spaniels!

We are so so happy to have had our gorgeous summers wedding day at Broadfield. The house we stayed in for the wedding was stunning – amazing features, luxurious and very clean. The Broadfield grounds we used for our wedding day were incredible, we got married in the woodland and danced outside at night overlooking the beautiful views – it was just a dream! The photo opportunities are also amazing there including the sun setting over the driveway.

The Broadfield team itself are so approachable, efficient and lovely. They make it very personal – it felt so different to so many of the ‘wedding factory’ type venues we looked around before. We felt in safe hands both leading up to our wedding and on the big day itself. Special shout out to Helen for her incredible detail and kindness! Thank you all so so much.

If we had to do it again, we would choose Broadfield in a heartbeat. We hope to come back one day and stay for the weekend with our family.

We fell in love with Broadfield immediately. It is about 5 venues in one – gorgeous house, beautiful grounds, secluded woodland, rustic barn, and party bar. Fran, Alex and their team encouraged all of our crazy ideas and helped create the most special and personalised day for us. Having the exclusive use venue for a few days meant we could spend more time celebrating without ever feeling rushed. Every one of our guests was blown away – we cannot thank them enough.

We got married here in May 2022 with 130 guests.

It’s an amazing venue. Nestled in the Herefordshire countryside (with only rolling hills and no buildings in sight). Recently refurbished beautifully (to a high standard and with very stylish decor and furniture). The house itself is perfect for a stay with family / friends but it has other trimmings to make it perfect for big weddings too; such as the multiple locations which are licensed for weddings, the separate barn with a bar, toilets and a catering kitchen. There are also so many unique spaces you can use as part of your day. We had our wedding in the woods, drinks reception in the rose garden, and wedding breakfast in tipis in the field. But there are also many other spaces that are great for weddings (e.g. a courtyard, a large dining room and more fields).

One of the best parts of this venue however, is the people who own and run it. Frances and Alex (and Fran’s parents Helen and John) were absolutely incredible every step of the way. They really understand hospitality and helped us to think of everything to ensure our week’s stay there, and wedding, went smoothly. They are also wonderfully flexible and will help you to realise the wedding you imagine, either by using their roster of suppliers or bringing in your own. We wanted a DIY wedding instead of a package and they were fine with this. In the end, most of the suppliers we used came recommended by the Broadfield team and they were all fantastic.

It’s a truly magic wedding venue. I wish we could go back and do it again!

We opted to go with Broadfield for our wedding that took place in August 2023, and the whole experience was marvellous from start to finish. Helen and the team were hugely helpful over the long period leading up to the event and helped us with every step of the planning process, including highlighting things that were gorgeous. There are just so many areas to choose from when deciding where each part of the day should take place. We cannot overstate how great it is that Broadfield doesn’t hold weddings on consecutive days, so you can arrive in the afternoon the day before, stay overnight in the wonderfully comfortable and spacious bedrooms, have the wedding, then stay overnight again and leave the following morning. It made for a very relaxed and stress-free stay.

The wedding day itself went off perfectly, and the team worked hard to make sure everything went as it should. We can’t imagine any way it could have gone better. Top marks, and would happily recommend Broadfield to anyone on the hunt for a venue.

We recently had our wedding at Broadfield, and we are so glad we picked this venue! Frances and her team are exceptionally organised, super friendly and helpful and were an invaluable support to making the whole weekend a success. I cannot rate them highly enough!
The venue and its surroundings are beautiful, and all the natural greenery, flowers and trees complemented the autumnal theme of our wedding. We particularly loved the flexibility to bring in our own caterers, marquee, etc and to utilise the different spaces – e.g. we held a more intimate ceremony just with family and the registrar at the cute outdoor summerhouse and turned the upstairs barn into a karaoke room for the main event! The guests staying at the venue also loved the house – the rooms are stunning, a perfect balance of old and modern. Frances and team also organised fresh flowers throughout the house and prepared all the fireplaces for us. Thank you, Frances, Alex and team for hosting a spectacular wedding!

Wow, what a 4 day weekend! I cannot recommend this venue enough. We had the most incredible bespoke wedding; Fran was so open to our ideas, organised, lovely and on it. This venue allows you to do what you want with no set suppliers, and you get your own fantastic wedding planner thrown in! We didn’t want the weekend to end. We celebrated our wedding in August 2023 at Broadfield Court and it was the most perfect day we could have dreamed of! My husband is a wedding photographer and after all the beautiful wedding venues he wanted to show me this venue first. When we saw it, we fell in love with it immediately and we didn’t need to look any further!

The venue itself felt like home and all of our guests commented on how beautiful the building and the grounds were. Helen and the team took care of us as if we were one of their own. They were professional, kind and courteous from start to finish. We honestly cannot recommend this beautiful place highly enough.
