The Clifton Palm House is a stunning venue. In winter it’s elegant and magical – sparkling with lights, candles and Christmas trees. In summer it’s utterly charming – full of sunshine, flowers and fragrances. For a smaller gatherings, you can also hire the Garden Room.
The in-house stylist and florist can dress your chosen space to your requirements, alternatively, the space can be cleared for your own stylists and event decorators – a truly unique blank canvas!
The Quince Tree based at Clifton Nurseries provide a mouth watering selection of delights and can create wonderful sample menus to compliment your chosen wedding style.

the milk thistle & the ox

Now, I’m not one to have favourites… But I must admit my heart skips a little at this next venue.
Independently run ‘The Milk Thistle’ is housed over four floors in one of the finest historic buildings in the city of Bristol.
When your guests arrive at this City Chic venue they are served delicious signature cocktails, bubbles and tempting canapés.
You can then make your way up to dinner or a buffet in the Lounge or Attic of ‘The Milk Thistle’, or for smaller guest lists, a sit down dinner for up to 80 at ‘The Ox’.
Later you can move to ‘The Milk Thistle’s’ Lounge that can house a band or DJ, you might even fancy the recommended gramophone DJ spinning some tracks in this cool, ‘underground’ venue.
So folks… If you desire the most tasty cocktails, sipped in romantic surroundings with a nod to all things vintage, then this is the City venue for you…

kings weston house

Designed by the famous architect Sir John Vanbrugh, Weston House was built between 1712 and 1719 – A Grade I listed building, this is without doubt one of Bristol’s hidden treasures.
The aim of Kings Weston House is to ensure that the doors are extended, to allow guests to feel at home and comfortable in the stately surroundings.
The Portrait gallery holds 100 for the ceremony and can also be used for reception drinks. Situated at the front of the house this room is very light and airy. A real fairy-tale room. Your guests can watch you step out of your car and walk down the aisle.
The Grand Staircase holds 120 for the ceremony and can also be used for reception drinks. It’s a breathtaking room where you can wow your guests by walking down from the sweeping staircase.

Clawdd Offa farm

Clawdd Offa Farm is an enchantingly different marquee venue for romantic country weddings.
You can have your own piece of rolling Welsh countryside with a bespoke marquee, complete with decking leading to the mirrored edge of the farm’s lake.
For those of you with an adventurous spirit why not look at extending the party and staying overnight with your guests in a tent, caravan or one of their Festihuts.
