The Larmer Tree Gardens Wedding experience is truly out of this world, and we are so grateful to the talented Larmer Tree Team for delivering a phenomenal wedding day event. From an exceptional wedding venue and accommodation (staying at King John House- is a must!), 5-star customer service, superb seamless event delivery to the most talented chefs working on site. We want to especially thank Francesca, our wedding coordinator, for her talents, professionalism and event delivery. You truly made it the best possible experience, and we will treasure this magical time forever!

Married July 2024

We had our wedding at Larmer in April, which was coordinated by Amy. The venue is absolutely stunning, and it fitted everything we wanted and more. We had the absolute best day possible, and that is all thanks to Amy and the rest of the team at Larmer Tree and Forkingout. The organisation was seamless from the beginning (including helping postpone our wedding) to the day. Amy was incredibly responsive to all our questions leading up to the wedding and constantly put us at ease. Everything ran smoothly on the day, thanks to Amy’s super organisation, which ensured everything went as planned. Everyone commented on how well the day went, and we couldn’t agree more! It couldn’t have gone any better; we had the best day! We can’t wait to visit Larmer Tree for many anniversaries to come.

We had our wedding here in July 2022, and it was the perfect day! We couldn’t be happier with how it all went, and a big part of that is down to how helpful and well-organised Amy and the team were (both on the day itself and with all of the planning in advance!). We really didn’t have to worry about anything on the day and were left to enjoy ourselves. The food provided by Forkingout was also brilliant, and everything was in line with what we had agreed upon at our tasting.

Larmer Tree is a very special and unique venue, and we would very much recommend it for a wedding and a place for our day out. The gardens are extensive and varied, so there are plenty of places for great photos and guests to explore. All our guests loved the venue and had only positive things to say about the whole day.

We had our wedding at Larmer Tree Gardens in March 2024, and it was an absolute dream come true! The venue itself is so unique and special; however, what truly made our experience exceptional was the amazing team that worked there. We were so lucky to have Francesca as our wedding coordinator. She gave us complete reassurance in the lead-up to our wedding day and was able to help us make the right decisions and solve any challenges that arose. Our guests were equally impressed by all the staff at Larmer Tree Gardens, including the Forking Out catering team. Everyone was so friendly and attentive and made sure everyone had a brilliant time.

We cannot thank Francesca and the team enough for making our wedding day so special. It was everything we dreamed of and more. We would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I highly recommend Larmer Tree Gardens for anyone looking for a perfect wedding venue and for their excellent facilities to ensure couples are well prepared and looked after. Larmer Tree will always hold a very special place in our lives, and we look forward to going back to visit in the future to relive the amazing memories.

We had our wedding at Larmer Tree Gardens in July earlier this year, and it was absolutely perfect. From our first visit to the venue, we knew it was the place where we wanted to get married; it was magical and exactly what we had in mind for our special day. Thank you specifically to Amy, who helped us throughout the whole journey, answered all our questions, and was just incredible on the day as well; it was seamless; we didn’t have to think about anything else on the day and were able to truly enjoy our special day with all of our friends and family. Our guests also loved Larmer Tree – we had so many compliments about how great it was as a wedding venue. Thank you, Amy and the team. We will never forget it!

If you are looking for an outstanding all-round wedding venue, look no further than Larmer Tree! We married there in May 2024 and had the best day ever. We found the venue online and came for a visit where we immediately fell in love with the location and Larmer Tree Team. Amy showed us around the venue and made us feel like the only couple getting married there this year. She was very friendly and professional, which immediately made us feel at ease. We then attended the very informative wedding fayre, where we selected a number of our suppliers for the wedding.

When we committed to Larmer Tree, we knew we had made the right choice. In the run-up to the wedding, Amy was attentive and understanding and made sure nothing was too much to ask for. On the day of the wedding Larmer Tree looked beautiful. Our guests were impressed with the lovely gardens and the attentive staff. We married in front of the Roman temple and had canapés on the lawn before heading inside for a delicious wedding breakfast. Larmer Tree only allows you to use the Forking Out caterers for the wedding breakfast. Don’t be alarmed. They are brilliant. They serve delicious food and the main course blew away all our guests and desserts. The Larmer Tree team were brilliant all day, checking in on us and making sure everything was ok for our special day.

Well, what can I say other than the biggest most enormous thank you for helping us to have the most perfect wedding day. We couldn’t have wished for a better day. We can’t thank you enough for all your help and support in the lead up and Katy your help on the day was amazing, You were such a great calming influence when I was really nervous beforehand, you made sure everything ran seamlessly throughout and we are really grateful for this.

We had such a fantastic experience at Larmer Tree with Amy and the rest of the team there. The venue itself is incredible. It is such a beautiful setting with so many options for how you would like to have a wedding; we chose the lower Indian room for our ceremony, which was perfect! Amy was a constant support throughout our wedding experience; she made the event run smoothly and took so much stress out of the day. On the day, she was incredible, quietly working hard to ensure we had the best day, and we could not have done it without her! We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else, and Amy helped us create our perfect wedding day.

From the minute we first visited the Larmer Tree, we knew it was a special venue. Katie and Francesca were so great at our first visit, and we just knew it was the place for us. The gardens are breathtaking; we used the Roman temple for our ceremony and the lower Indian room for our speeches. Francesca was absolutely incredible from day one; she was so supportive and honestly made us feel like we were the only couple she worked with. The day was absolutely seamless; I didn’t have to worry about one thing, everything was so organised, it was perfect in every way, and I can never thank her enough for being the most incredible wedding coordinator. This venue is extraordinary, and I am so happy we had our wedding here.

We were lucky enough to have our wedding here, in the glorious sunshine, surrounded by wildlife and our loved ones. But what really made the experience so magical was the attentiveness, care, and pride with which the Larmer Tree and all of their staff conducted themselves and their business. Nothing was too much trouble from the very first planning meeting until the last person left the dance floor. The food blew our guests away, and the venue was mesmerising in the summer sun. It is cliche to say, but it really was the best day of our lives, and that was made possible by all of you.

Gail, we wanted to to tell you how grateful we are for everything you did for us throughout the whole planning process but most especially on the day!! You are magnificent at what you do and we had the most wonderful day thanks to your hard work and Donna and everyone else at the Larmerand Forkingout.

We don’t know where to start with this review, as the whole experience with Larmer Tree was incredible. From start to finish, we were blown away by Amy and the team at Larmer Tree, from the excellent communication, planning, liaising with vendors and setting up to their welcoming and friendly approach, which made us feel extra special. The venue was like a dream, with incredible gardens, roaming peacocks (not forgetting the parrot) and stunning structures like the Roman Temple and the beautiful stage. Our guests were blown away as much as we were. We cannot recommend Larmer Tree enough and thank you so much to our Wedding Coordinator, Amy and everyone at Larmer Tree for making the day so special, which we will always remember.

What an amazing wedding venue this is. We were so lucky to have been married in the spectacular gardens! From our first contact with the Larmer Tree to our wedding planning meetings with Katy and our food tastings with Forkingout, we could not fault a thing.
