Designed by world-renowned designer Timothy Oulton, with an Alice in Wonderland meet Rule Britannia inventiveness, this boutique hotel offers a fairytale-esque setting for your wedding.
Glazebrook House was voted best boutique hotel for 2018 by Visit England, and it doesn’t take long to realise why. The devil really is in the detail in every element of this venue from the quirky interiors, the award-winning menu’s (Ben Palmer, the executive chef was a quarter-finalist in Masterchef), to the landscaped gardens and dedicated whisky and wine tasting room.
Glazebrook is theatrical and witty, with walls that are lined with quirky clusters of vintage pieces (over 900 unique pieces can be found throughout) making it feel like you’re partying in a museum or the home of an eccentric Victorian collector. The funky cocktail bar is one of the county’s coolest hangouts and all bought together, it offers a ballsy and youthful change to the identikit country house hotel venues more usually found in these parts. Stone fireplaces, parquet floors and glittering chandeliers add a dose of traditional class.

For your culinary needs, Glazebrook serves the very best in food and drink with an impeccable but relaxed service and the open-plan ground floor rooms are flexible enough to accommodate separate areas for drinks and canapés, entertainment and dancing for up to 120 guests.
One of the perks of hiring Glazebrook for your wedding is that your nearest and dearest can stay in the 9 stunning bedrooms. Each of the bedrooms has a Timothy Oulton handmade bed as its centrepiece and an eclectic Alice in Wonderland theme – inspired by Fran, who, when walking through Glazebrook’s gardens for the first time, said she felt that she had fallen down a rabbit hole into a different, beautiful world. As the evening festivities draw to a close, you and your closest friends and family can retire to the spectacular 9 bedrooms that await upstairs. From the exquisite Mad Hatter room to the sumptuous Cheshire Cat room, you and your guests will be completely charmed and utterly relaxed as you settle down for the night.
