Healey Barn is a wonderful new wedding venue in the Northumbrian countryside, near the small village of Healey, close to Newcastle and Durham respectively. The venue is made up of a collection of traditional stone farm buildings surrounding a sheltered courtyard.

Melissa says this about her trip to Healy Barn… “For me Healey Barn was love at first sight, with so many gorgeous details it is a photographers dream. A beautifully restored barn seamlessly nestled in to the Tyne Valley countryside, it has a great mix of rustic charm and fine art characteristics. Inside is spacious and light filled. I love the copper accents (in particular the bar) and it is hard not to be wowed by the barns amazing vaulted ceiling. As well as its own gorgeous garden and rustic courtyard it is surrounded by a mix of working farmland and woodland which lends to some fantastic portrait opportunities on your wedding day…”

Expectations… If it’s a relaxed, country setting you want, with incredible food and great service, this is the place for you.
WOW factor… Not only do couples get exclusivity at the venue on their wedding day, but they can enjoy incredible views overlooking the Northumbrian countryside, large open fireplaces and firepits, as well as a candlelit ceremony room and dance floor. In addition to this, we are known for our delicious food. Our formula is “Buy the best, cook it simply, serve it generously”. We like to make our food dramatic as well as delicious, so there’s an 8-spit rotisserie visible through a glass screen from the Dining Room, and a large mobile BBQ.
