“A spirit or source that inspires an artist…”

I love creating, I always have and it’s hard to say where it all comes from sometimes. Often it’s a subconscious thing. The inspirations for this collection were twofold. Firstly the beads, gems and findings I source, and which I am constantly obsessed with! They simply ignite creative ideas that I have to explore and experiment with. Much time is spent searching out unique materials, to lend a unique character to my work. Secondly, and there’s always an element of this, brides inspire me. Meeting and working with brides I get to learn what it is they are searching for, working on bespoke designs for them never fails to teach me where I should be evolving my designs.

So for this MUSE collection I wanted to create headdresses that offer versatility; the signature MUSE headdress can be styled very easily at least three ways and in many hairstyles, the Infinity drape headdress taps into the effortless bohemian luxe vibe and can be worn in many hair types, so easily secured, you don’t even need a stylist. Next there’s a selection of hairpins and clips, again, the focus being not only on the ‘pretty’ but how easily they can be styled and worn. The Infinity and Cherish designs for example, are both set on crocodile clips which couldn’t be easier to use. Lastly I wanted to offer the statement earring, a firm favourite right now, Desire and Muse are intricately embellished stud and drop designs that will definitely get noticed, while Charm, Swoon and Darling are more understated in their attraction.
