Emma says…
My photography style is laid-back, emotive, and playful. I generally I take a step back and watch you, your friends and family tell the story. I don’t have bags of kit, as I don’t think you need it and I’m not the kind of photographer that will become hung up about technical settings. I shoot where I can with natural light and use an on-camera flash for the evening celebrations.
I totally fell into this wonderful world of wedding photography. I got married 9 years ago and when I received my wedding photographs I was so disappointed. There were just a bit soulless and we felt they didn’t represent us as a couple. I’m a creative at heart, previously being a graphic designer and as much as possible I feel those moments. Thank goodness the industry has now changed to be much more free spirited!
That is why I slipped into this amazing world and I’ve now been shooting weddings full-time for 5 years. I love to shoot couples that ooze passion, that dance like no-ones watching and prefer vendors that express their relationship outwardly. I will always go that extra mile to make sure I achieve for you, as I know what it is like to not feel content. On your day you should be relaxed and your cheeks ache from constant smiling and laughing. I am committed to this and the start of your beautiful journey. I absolutely love my job and I work hard to ensure that on your day you can just let go, breathe and have fun! I love lists and I am more than happy to help with planning and organising your day if you want that extra person to lean on.
