For those of you who don’t work from home, I’ll let you into a secret… It’s not easy.
Routine and discipline are the backbone of a good day in the office. Anything else leaves you feeling a little dissatisfied and a little bit, well messy.
The importance of carving out my own hub of creativity became apparent quite quickly when starting this business. So, back in January (gulp) I wrote a personal post about the practicalities of working from home and my desire for a gorgeous office space to call my own. The moodboard I shared with you was an aspirational mix of old and new, clean white lines and the odd comfort or two in the form of fresh flowers and squishy moroccan pouffes. This was the vision for my Coco HQ.
In May I was super lucky to have the team from 91 Magazine pay me a visit. Thanks to the gorgeous Ruth Garner (freelance writer and owner of The Planned Adventure blog) and Jemma Watts Photography, I now have a lovely portfolio of images of our house. You can see the full feature in the June Issue, but today I wanted to share just a few peeks into the office that is Coco Wedding Venues.
So today’s inspiration is a little more personal and a whole lot more behind-the-scenes… But I hope you like it.

So there you have it… Coco HQ and a glimpse into life at home. I can’t promise it’s this tidy ALL of the time, but my husband is pretty handy with a duster and keeps me in check from time to time (I’m a messy perfectionist). Oh and Gatsby has since had all of his puppy hair chopped off and is no longer the dishevelled ball of fur that you see above!

Do you have your own wedmin space…?
Is your home style influencing your wedding decor…? You can find pieces from our wedding scattered in the above photos and it’s a lovely daily reminder of such a special day.
Happy weekend all…
