Hannah & Josh’s Modern Rustic Wedding at The Oak Barn, Frame Farm

From its position within Kent’s Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, to the inside of their magnificent 18th century oak barn and the fact that they are serious about sustainability… this is one excellent wedding venue!

Hannah and Josh’s wedding took place in September and was a modern take on a rustic barn celebration. Think boho details with a touch of sparkle and a sprinkling of gorgeous personalised elements, all tied together in a pretty pink colour palette. Dreamy!

Hannah says…

We came across the The Oak Barn, Frame Farm online and had to go and view it. It was the first and only venue we went to see and fell in love instantly. It had all the rustic charm we were looking for, as well as a beautiful ceremony setting and stunning views of the Kent countryside.

My wedding dress was from Isabella Grace Bridal and had long lace sleeves and a beautiful long train. I also chose a long veil to match the dress and had my hair loosely pinned up with a pretty hairpiece for some added sparkle. My bridesmaids wore matching pale pink gowns with sequin detail which really complemented my dress and the wedding flowers.

Josh wore a stylish three piece grey suit with a single pink rose for the buttonhole, and the groomsmen each wore a matching grey suit jacket but with black trousers. My mother who gave me away also wore the same pale pink colour so everything tied in perfectly.

Daisies in Bloom was our florist and she created matching bouquets for myself and the bridesmaids in the same elegant colour palette including pink roses, white gypsophila and eucalyptus greenery.

Our cake was made by a close family friend – we wanted a nice, simple cake with white icing, decorated with a dried flower hoop detail and our initials hand drawn on it.

We used Vine and Dine for our food catering and they were absolutely incredible. Every single course was delicious, and the service was second to none, our guests are still talking about it now.

Phoebe Rossi Photography was absolutely amazing, we couldn’t have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day. She truly is the most professional and helpful person. In fact, we are having a family photoshoot with her soon as we loved her work so much.

BEST PART OF THE DAY

I don’t think we could choose a best part of the day as it was all so, so special, but one of the best moments would be when I got to say hello to all our family members and friends after the ceremony. Our time alone together during the couple photos was also a really memorable time where we were able to properly catch up and soak up everything that had happened so far.
