Wow. Where to begin? Me and my husband got married at the Wilderness in July this year. Everything from the communication leading up to the big day, to the little touches throughout were incredible.

Big thanks to Elizabeth, Jess, Emily and Anna who were all involved in making our day run as smoothly as possible. All the staff during the day were extremely professional and friendly and kept the drinks flowing all night!

All our guests said it was the best wedding they’d ever been to and has redefined modern weddings for them now.

It’s hard to put into words our appreciation and love for the wilderness! what an amazing wedding we had! The whole team gave us a wedding that went well and truly beyond our expectations!

The venue looked beautiful, the team were exceptional and they could not have done enough for us, not just for me and Rob but for all the guests. We had comments from guests all night about how brilliant the venue was and how accommodating and organised the staff were. Everything ran like clockwork. We can’t fault them at all. The only disappointment was that we can’t do the same every weekend.

We got married at The Wilderness in 2019 and it was incredible – so many of our guests commented that it was the best wedding they had ever been to and how it reminded them of Shambala Festival. We loved every second.

We had our wedding at Wilderness Weddings in August 2022, and it was the most wonderful day and venue we could have dreamed of. The venue and venue management were so incredibly helpful; from doing video tours of the site when we were in the venue selection process, to multiple in person meetings and walkthroughs once we had chosen Wilderness Weddings for our special day. Their suppliers were all incredible and helped to make the day perfect – from the caterer “Olivia – Just One Cook” to “Hire Love” who made all the various spaces look incredible, the on-site glamping offering and the event staff on the day – everyone was absolutely fabulous. In our wildest dreams, we couldn’t have imagined just how wonderful the whole day would be, and we will never forget our wedding day at Wilderness Weddings. Tim & Lydia x

We got married in the Woodsman’s Cabin on the lake – and then had acoustic music to serenade us and the guests back across the twenty acre meadow to the woodlands. We loved how relaxed and informal it all was, but slick and professional at the same time. The Wilderness is our happy place.

My husband and I had our wedding at The Wilderness on August 6th 2021. We had the most amazing day. The staff were all fabulous and everything ran beautifully. The venue itself is stunning and has the best sunsets. We wouldn’t change a single thing. Thank you to all the wilderness team!

Our wedding was so much more than we could ever have hoped for. In large part, this was down to the amazing location that was Wilderness Weddings, Kent.

The team at Wilderness made this possible with their vision for a wedding in the rolling picturesque Kent countryside, complete with stunning woodlands, fields and a lake by which the ceremony was held.

The team were so creative in turning this setting into an almost dreamlike venue. But at the same time, they were never overbearing and were very clear that it was our wedding and that they were happy to accommodate all our ideas and suggestions for doing things. You simply don’t get this freedom at a conventional wedding venue, just one of the things that attracted us to Wilderness!

With a woodland wedding like this, you are putting a lot of trust in the venue and organising team. But given their track record in running weddings at the stunning, nearby Preston Court, we were confident that the team’s style would fit exactly the kind of look and relaxed, informal vibe we were going for. They did not disappoint.

Organising a woodland wedding requires a lot of planning. Like all those small things you usually take for granted, like vehicle access and power! But the team thought of every last detail. Like the brilliant vintage buses provided to take all the guests there and back. And, whilst for our day, the weather was great, the team also put a lot of effort into developing some really great alternative options in case the rain came.

You would never have known that this (and many of our guests were surprised) was the first wedding they had delivered at Wilderness.

The result was a simply stunning wedding. We both are of course biased, but it was interesting to see how our guests were equally wowed by the location and experience.

We are so pleased that we went for a different kind of wedding at Wilderness. As you will see from the pictures, it was a day that nobody there will ever forget. We can’t sing the praises of Wilderness and the team highly enough!

Married June 2023

We got married at The Wilderness in May and we had the most incredible day that was everything we dreamed of and more.

The Wilderness is a magical space, completely immersed in nature and showcasing the very best of the Kent countryside that we love so much. Once we looked at The Wilderness we knew we didn’t want to get married anywhere else and we are so glad we found it!

We loved having the ceremony in the boathouse on the lake which was so atmospheric, and then wandering across the meadow to what felt like our own secret woodland glade to celebrate into the night. Afterwards, glamping with our closest friends and waking up together the morning after was very special.

The team are amazing; we cannot fault anything in the run-up to the day and on the day itself – they thought of absolutely everything!

A huge thank you to Jessica (‘JLO’), Dawn, Emilie and Lizzie on the day, to Remy for all your help with set-up, Anna and Jess for all the communications and help with planning, and Izzy for organising the glamping.

They are complete professionals and made sure everything went seamlessly, as well as all being lovely, friendly people.

When speaking to friends and family afterwards I realised that they had done even more on the day than we had realised (bringing around blankets just before the ceremony as they noticed some guests were chilly, driving my parents in the golf buggy to meet their lost taxi, amongst many others!) – just so attentive and on it!

Because everyone was so brilliant, we were able to truly be present and totally enjoy the best day of our lives without worrying about anything. We are so grateful to you all, thank you so much!

If you are engaged I urge you to take a look at the Wilderness and meet the team, it will be the best decision you make!

When we first looked around it reminded us of The Wilderness Festival – every aspect of the venue has been well thought out and there are some many unexpected nooks and crannies.

It’s just dreamy – can we do it all over again please?

I know this sounds cheesy to say, but it was absolutely amazing. Thank you for looking after us and making our day so special. The sunsets were amazing and everything about The Wilderness was so relaxed but beautiful.
