Set amid 12 acres of private estate in the heart of the Cheshire countryside, Scarlet Hall is a country house wedding venue offering sweeping grounds and enchanting interior spaces. The venue, which has historically hosted princes, can really be called “a wedding estate”. It features a rustic wedding barn, a versatile space for the ceremony and reception, plus ample grounds with an English meadow and a red apple orchard, idyllic for outdoor celebrations and photographs. The manor and coach house, with their inviting bedroom suites, indoor pool and sauna, create a restful atmosphere for the newlyweds and overnight guests.
At Scarlet Hall, couples can choose to exchange vows in a civil or humanist ceremony onsite. For events with over 31 guests, a dedicated wedding planner is included to help bring their dream wedding to life, whether it’s an intimate elopement or a grand soirée.
The wedding barn seats up to 100 guests and can be styled in a bespoke way, think soft candlelight and caterers serving a field-to-fork feast on tables festooned with seasonal floral arrangements. For those dreaming of an al fresco celebration, a marquee can be hired at an additional charge on the five-acre lawn.

Wow! We cannot even begin to express how incredible this weekend has been. Scarlet Hall is simply sensational! We are devastated to be leaving and already planning our return. We couldn´t have wished for a more perfect setting to get married, and to have all of our friends and family here together has been so special. The owners are the most wonderful people. Thank you so much for allowing us to live in a magical fairytale for the weekend.

To allow for set-up, access to the wedding barn is from noon on the day of arrival, and access to the main house is from 4.30pm. We ask that all suppliers have collected their equipment and vacated the property by 10am on the day you're leaving.
We ask that couples utilise our highly recommended local caterers and bar providers. Permission is needed for caterers and bar providers that are not on our list, and an additional fee of £300.00 + VAT will be applied for the use of the catering kitchen equipment.
The venue doesn't provide tables and chairs for your wedding celebrations; you must source these separately using our recommended suppliers list.
Permission must be gained before you can put any structure anywhere on the grounds because of potential damage that can be caused at certain times of the year. If you have permission to have a marquee, a fee of £1,500 will be required.
You are welcome to host pre- or post-wedding celebrations with prior permission, and depending on the number of guests, extra costs may apply. We politely request that all guests remain within the dedicated wedding barn and outdoor spaces and should not enter the property or the swimming pool, which we request is locked during the celebrations. Celebrations on Sunday need to finish by 6pm.
Music must be turned down by 11pm and ended by 11:30pm with carriages at midnight on weekends. During the week, music should be turned down by 10pm and ended by 10:30pm, with carriages at 11pm.
Yes, we allow bio-degradable confetti to be thrown outside only.
