A gathering place for over 900 years, The Mount Without is an ethereal space that provides the perfect backdrop for a truly memorable wedding, backed by a powerhouse team of award-winning creatives and wedding planners.
This beautiful building has been painstakingly renovated and restored to create a sense of being in a raw, abandoned place. Exposed walls etched with paintings by local artists and stained glass combine with a suspended contemporary art installation and a brand-new polished oak floor to create a modern ambience, while retaining the building’s story and rich history.
The venue includes two outdoor spaces. A small woodland garden strung with festoon lights offers a quiet retreat, while the main garden often becomes the setting for drinks in the sun. A smoking area sits slightly apart from the main space. Inside, The Crypt features a fully licensed and well-stocked bar, serving a selection of international and locally sourced beers, wines, and spirits.
The Mount Without sits in the Christmas Steps Arts Quarter in central Bristol. The church is only ten minutes from the train station, five minutes from the bus station, and a two-minute walk from the nearest hotels, Airbnbs, and car park.
The venue is fully accessible, with a ramp to The Crypt, step-free routes throughout, and accessible toilets on both floors. Baby changing facilities are also provided in The Crypt.
