The Setting
Set in 60 acres of privately-owned farmland, Sedgewell Barn is situated close to the picturesque village of Ainderby Steeple with its traditional pub and historic church.
The Vibe
This new family-run wedding venue, currently open from late April to early October, offers two stunning barns with landscaped courtyard area and fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. It is a blank canvas venue giving you the flexibility to theme your wedding as you wish and spend as little or as much on the things which are important to you.
There is luxury en-suite glamping accommodation onsite with private hot tubs for the wedding couple and between 20-41 of your guests to enjoy exclusively over three days.
There is also a pretty byre with bar area and adjoining indoor space as somewhere guests can relax away from the hustle and bustle of the main celebrations.
The friendly team at Sedgewell Barn has a full list of suppliers and their experienced in-house wedding planner will be there to give a helping hand with supplier coordination leaving you to relax and enjoy the wedding day of your dreams.
For the all-important wedding breakfast, there is a list of recommended caterers who can supply anything from relaxed, rustic sharing platters to a formal five course banquet.
They are licensed to hold civil ceremonies throughout the venue, including their intimate open-air courtyard area. For those wanting to get wed in the great outdoors you can even have your ceremony in a Wigwam!
