The Vibe
Thirsk Lodge Barns has been beautifully restored to balance a rustic barn and a high-end wedding venue perfectly.
Traditional features such as red brick walls, rounded pillars, and striking beams give the venue warmth and character, while the copper-topped bars, large windows looking out over landscaped courtyards, and romantic wall of fairy lights add a modern, luxurious feel.
This luxurious yet welcoming, exclusive-use wedding venue comprises several connected barns, including the Main Barn, the snug Wheelhouse, the Bar, the Courtyard, and the Dining Room. Therefore, you can enjoy a change of scenery as you move between your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and then onto the dancing.
Welcoming up to 140 guests for the ceremony and dining, there is also capacity for more guests at the evening reception.
The venue is entirely yours throughout the day, and you are welcome to set up the day before. On the big day, your wedding coordinator will be on hand to help ensure the smooth running of the wedding, taking the pressure off you so that you can focus on relaxing and enjoying your day.
This venue offers some fun, unique extras including a rustic prosecco ladder, large lanterns, garden games including Giant Jenga, and a fire pit in the courtyard for toasting marshmallows and lighting sparklers!
