Howsham is such a lovely venue, we booked to get married after attending one of the open days. All the staff were so lovely and helpful throughout the planning process and the event itself, and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed the night before and the night of and were made to feel so welcome, the food was excellent, and everyone was catered for. The surroundings are lovely, and I would do it all over again at the drop of a hat.

My husband and I got married at Howsham Hall in July, and everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish!

From the moment we first viewed Howsham Hall, we knew it was the perfect venue for us. Liam, our Event Manager, was fantastic throughout the entire planning process. His attention to detail, excellent communication, and support meant we could relax and truly enjoy the whole wedding weekend without any stress.

When we arrived on the Friday, Tim and the rest of the team gave us such a warm welcome. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and every member of staff went above and beyond to make our weekend so special. The food across all three days was incredible and exactly what we had hoped for. Every detail came together perfectly, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate with our family and friends.

We had our wedding at Howsham Hall, and it was just incredible from start to finish!

The minute we first stepped into Howsham, we knew that was where we’d be getting married; it’s just such a stunning venue. We met Emma that day, who was so lovely showing us around; she stopped us feeling like imposters as we just couldn’t believe it was our turn to plan!

As soon as we got things moving and planning, nothing was a silly question, and everyone got back to us quickly; the team were so helpful throughout. Liam became our on-the-day coordinator, and he was just amazing; we were kept updated on what we needed to do and what he was handling for us. I work strange hours, so I was especially grateful that I didn’t feel I was missing out on things or forgetting things because Liam was so well organised. I’m also a complete control freak, but I didn’t have to worry about handing things over to Liam because he was so efficient and everything was exactly as I imagined.

From the minute we arrived on the day, everything was taken care of; we didn’t need to arrange a thing because Liam was already on it and keeping things moving. I was able to get ready in the bridal suite without a single worry because Liam and Tim were organising suppliers and guests seamlessly. Tim made sure the house was at its best for our day and that we had the smoothest dinner service I think we’ve ever seen – every member of the wait staff was so lovely, and everyone we came across just made us feel so special and like they were excited for us to celebrate. Even the next morning at breakfast, ourselves and our guests felt so looked after.

We couldn’t fault a thing and just wish we could keep doing it all over and over again – I’m sure we’ll be back for any events just so we can experience that Howsham magic in person again. We can’t thank the entire team enough, but a special extra thank you to Liam and Tim who are just outstanding at their jobs and genuinely lovely people!

The most incredible venue. The most incredible team. I cannot express how amazing this venue is and how utterly perfect the Dine team are. From start to finish, everything is organised and executed to the utmost perfection.

Craig looked after us from the moment we booked all the way through to after our big day. He was fantastic. He directed everyone on the day itself and put our minds totally at ease. The team were so professional and lovely. They made us feel very well looked after, as well as all of our guests.

Every one of our guests commented that our wedding was the best they had ever been to, and for this, we thank all of the team at Dine.
Howsham Hall is a beautiful little hidden gem. Our guests were completely stunned by each and every aspect of it. There was not a single room which disappointed. Having full use of the venue the night before the wedding was also wonderful.

From the very first visit to the moment we booked our date, the team at Howsham Hall exceeded our expectations in every way. The team was incredibly helpful throughout the process, always going above and beyond to accommodate our needs and swiftly responding to my many emails.

The venue itself is nothing short of breathtaking. The bridal suite felt like something out of a fairytale, making the morning preparations truly magical. The 12 on-site bedrooms were ideal for accommodating our bridal party, and having the entire venue exclusively for the weekend made our celebration feel intimate and special. A special mention goes to the team at Dine, who delivered an unforgettable culinary experience—we received endless compliments on the food!

We had the most amazing wedding day at Howsham Hall. As soon as we walked through the doors to view it, we fell in love and immediately knew we would be in safe hands. The Dine team are all phenomenal at what they do, and the planning process was completely seamless. A special mention for Liam, who made sure the whole day ran like clockwork and went above and beyond for us. The food was sensational and exactly as it was at our tasting, and all the staff were lovely. It could not have been better, and a month later, we are still on cloud nine. We got married at Howsham last summer. The venue is beautiful and easy to dress up a bit if needed. Craig and the dine team were wonderful from start to finish and we were very impressed with how they event managed the day. We would highly recommend this venue!

So good news. We’d love to move forward with Howsham Hall for our wedding day! I just wanted to say a big thank you to you. I know we didn’t get off to the best start with my lateness, but honestly, we really appreciated the tour and how it felt! You got a real understanding of what we were looking for and then provided a tailored day/weekend for us after listening to our needs. When we visited a lot of the other venues, I compared them not only to Howsham Hall but also how the sales person conducted the tour, and none were as good as yours! I had someone call me James, others it felt like it was an inconvenience having us there so we massively appreciate your approach as we felt our wedding would be in safe hands which was mainly down to how you treated us during and after the viewing. It was close at the end between Howsham Hall and another venue, but I think you’re responsiveness aND solutions to our needs swayed us your way. Lauren and I both work in sales and lead teams and I personally love hearing feedback on my team (when they’ve done well). Thank you again and I look forward to having our wedding at Howsham Hall!

We had our beautiful wedding at Howsham Hall a month ago, and it was the most beautiful day we could ever dream of. The Dine Team was perfect from start to finish. We met Becky when we first visited Howsham Hall in March 2023; we had a tour of Howsham Hall and were blown away by the elegant and well-thought-out spaces, the MASSIVE bridal suite and the menu choices. What really sold the place for us was that each main part of the day had a separate part of the hall, meaning we weren’t ushered around while hall spaces were being turned over to be used again for another part of the day.

After booking, we were passed on to our coordinator, and we had the wonderful Jenny overlooking the planning of our wedding day. It was a pleasure to have her coordinating, everything was taken care of with attention to detail. We had meetings throughout the months of planning; notes were taken and followed to the tiniest detail. She checked on us throughout the wedding day to ensure everything was okay and we had everything we needed and felt so looked after!

Finally, Tim took care of us and our guests on our wedding day and the morning after. He was so nice and such a calming presence on the day. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were so well taken care of. Before our wedding day, I would always hear people saying that wedding days never go according to plan, but nobody would notice. In all honesty, everything about our wedding went according to plan, and this is thanks to the Dine team.

Last but not least, the food was AMAZING.

We had our wedding at Howsham Hall over the weekend, and all we can say is wow!! The venue is absolutely stunning, and our guests were complimenting it all day.

We would also like to give a special thanks to the staff, especially Liam and Tim. Liam could not have been more accommodating and helpful during the lead-up to our wedding, and they both made sure our day went by seamlessly.

The evening space was brilliant, and our guests loved the riverside terrace.

Howsham Hall is truly the most exceptional venue for the biggest day of your life. Guests will be in awe of the building from their first sight coming down the driveway. Howsham lived up to all the dreams of the day, and it couldn’t have gone any better right from the start. That is in huge part to the staff on the day who worked tirelessly to ensure all the guests were looked after to the highest standards, especially my wife and me. All the dine staff on the day were a true credit to their hospitality industry.

The immaculate grounds present a stunning backdrop and wonderful external picture locations for the whole occasion. The interiors have been carefully designed to bring out the detail of the historic building and are the perfect backdrop for incredible images of your day. The bridal suite is second to none. The room is a perfect setting for the wedding party to prepare and settle into the day. The evening space has been revamped and has a perfect balance between space and in keeping with the traditional style of the hall. Plenty of seating and dancing space alongside a well-stocked and staffed bar – what more do you need for your evening party?

Evening food service is a great option instead of a buffet as it allows guests to relax and not clutter up the space. The Food throughout the whole day was amazing, too. The Dine chefs created dishes that tasted fantastic, and the presentation was equally as matched. The venue is an absolute must-visit. The whole planning process was straightforward, and you are assisted with expert assistance (something you will continue receiving on the wedding day). A personal thank you to Craig for this, as he helped make the day as special and memorable as it was!

Oh my gosh, I don’t know where to start! I guess – thank you, thank you, thank you will do!

Things have been a little crazy since the wedding, it feels so long ago now already! But it was honestly the best day ever. You, Tim and the Dine team couldn’t have pulled off a better day for us if you tried.

There are so many parts of the day that just keep coming back to us that really keep making us smile:

You announcing us into the wedding breakfast like a full-on MC and revving the room up for us (Gav loved that!). You telling me to breathe and asking so compassionately if I’m ready right before the ceremony. You running like the speed of light to grab Ayla’s ear defenders right before the first dance, just to name a few!

The day couldn’t have flowed more seamlessly, and we have had so many comments from our guests saying as such! – Although we now know there were a few things that actually did happen – like the registrars nearly having to leave and you and Gemma kept it a big secret to not panic me. How you managed to do that I have no idea!

Thankfully, it all worked out – and we couldn’t be more appreciative. You were an absolute pro all day. And the planning in the run-up – it felt like chatting with a friend the whole time – a friend that knows all things Howsham and building our dream wedding that is!
