From the moment we came to view Holywell Hall and pulled up to the gates, we absolutely knew it was the venue for us. I even remember asking 5 minutes in, how do we pay the deposit? Despite how grand the venue is, it feels completely intimate and special.

We absolutely loved the exclusivity of it, too; knowing that we are part of a select number of couples who get to celebrate there made it feel even more special to us and our guests. Every single room is so beautifully decorated and thought out with wonderful touches, such as the breakfast hamper and gowns that made us feel so at home for the weekend.

Holywell Hall has been a really exciting adventure for me as a curator. We’ve been working alongside the owners getting them ready to launch as a stunning Country House Wedding Venue and I think you’re going to love it. The estate is truly beautiful and will take your breath away. The owners are passionate about their home and are really excited to welcome you. From the moment we drove through the gates of Holywell Hall, we fell in love and were instantly swept up in the breath-taking grandeur of the house, gardens and lake. It’s safe to say it took all of five minutes for us to book our wedding date and so began the next 18 months of effortless planning. Nowhere else really does the personal touch quite like Holywell Hall. From the welcome champagne, luxurious dressing gowns and slippers, to the personalised egg cups for breakfast and so much more! We were made to feel incredibly relaxed and part of the family from day one all thanks to the owners, Katrina and her team, who really did go above and beyond to make our wedding weekend feel extra special. Our wedding was everything we dreamt it would be and so much more and Holywell will forever have a fond place in our hearts.

I first visited Holywell Hall in 2015 and the emotions that I first felt of pure excitement and awe as I drove through the main gates, past the lakes and up to the house itself are the same emotions that I still feel today and each and every time that I visit. Holywell Hall is an undeniably beautiful and uniquely charming venue full of possibilities and quite frankly, one of the most spectacular places in Britain to say your vows. If I wasn’t married already then I would choose Holywell Hall as my wedding venue in a heartbeat.

Holywell is an incredibly special location with its picturesque scenery and vast array of wildlife. Then, hidden away behind gilded gates and long driveway is the secret that is Holywell Hall!

Exclusive, breathtakingly beautiful and quintessentially English, we were instantly enamoured and knew this was the perfect place to get married.

Holywell is the most idyllic, wonderfully beautiful, inviting, special and elegant venue that we were privileged to host our wedding at! We had the most perfect day; the team are incredible and made everything run so smoothly – we didn’t have to worry about a thing! So many of our guests said it was the best venue they’d ever seen, there are so many aspects to it, and it has been designed to perfection!

If you’re lucky enough to get married here, you’ll be forever glad you chose it. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and are just so pleased we have the photos and video to relive the magic over and over.

We knew within minutes of arriving that Holywell Hall was the only venue for us as it ticked all of the boxes we’d been looking for. We felt like we were wandering through the set of a romantic period drama, as we looked around the beautiful grounds and absolutely LOVED the lake view, wild flower meadow, gorgeous walled gardens and all of the intriguing outbuildings filled with such charm and character. Being able to hold both our ceremony and reception on-site was a huge positive and the privacy of the setting was just right.  We were completely overwhelmed by the quality, variety and high standard of local suppliers – we honestly couldn’t have wished for a better team.  Our friends all have lovely stories and pictures of their own from the day, when they took the opportunity to stroll the gardens and meadows themselves, with a glass of champagne in hand of course!

The moment we saw Holywell Hall we knew we’d found the perfect venue. Driving up to the Hall for the first time – and every time thereafter – gave us a sense of anticipation, excitement and grandeur that would make our day feel extra special, and we knew our guests would love it too. The owners and team from Katrina Otter Weddings were amazing both in the run up to our wedding and on the day itself.  They were helpful, patient and accommodating, giving invaluable advice, and nothing was too much trouble. The team’s organisation and coordination was second to none; the day definitely would not have run as smoothly as it did without them. On the day our guests were completely blown away by Holywell Hall and the warm welcome they received. I wish we could go back and do it all again!
