Price includes: Exclusive hire of the barn and grounds from midday on Friday until 1pm Sunday – they host 1 wedding a week and all weddings are held on a Saturday. You will also be provided with an event manager so your day runs seamlessly. Ceremony area for your civil wedding and seating for up to 150 guests. Tables (long vintage wooden trestle tables) and chairs for up to 150 guests. Wi-fi. Plenty of feature lighting, including wagon wheel lights, festoon lights. Indoor and outdoor furniture and decorations (including a whisky barrel for your cake table). Hessian curtains in ceremony area. PA system for speeches and background music. Two parking attendants. Heating and cooling system.
From January 2022 weddings onwards, Grange Barn plan to have an on-site bridal suite. Please note this hasn’t been built yet so is not included in pricing.
Grange Barn is on the Cheshire/Shropshire border. The converted cattle barn is on a beautiful family run farm and has stunning views across Cheshire. Whilst feeling remote and rural, Grange Barn is perfectly situated between the market towns of Whitchurch and Nantwich so has great transport options and is nearby plenty of additional accommodation for guests.
For the bridal party, Grange Barn has partnered with Cheshire Boutique Barns just down the road from them offering 4 gorgeous and individual barns sleeping 12 people in total. Crewe, Nantwich and Whitchurch train stations are all nearby, making this hidden gem very accessible.
Grange Barn is a rustic and relaxed venue.
The barn has everything under one roof, with the ceremony room sectioned off with gorgeous large hessian curtains. Outside is a large wooden deck which gets the sun all afternoon and evening, making it the perfect spot for a drinks reception. The decking also offers a picture perfect area for an outdoor ceremony.
Inside the barn, the 6 metre long rustic bar with quirky hanging lighting is a standout feature for the venue, along with the huge windows letting in an abundance of natural light and making the most of the amazing views.
Included in the package is a venue manager who supports couples through the build up, the set up on the day before, the running of the day and the clean up on Sunday. Grange Barn hosts 1 wedding a week on a Saturday, meaning couples have exclusive use of the venue from Friday – Sunday.
Tables and chairs for up to 150 people are also included, along with an abundance of decorations, quirky furniture and lighting. A full list of what is included in the package can be found on their website.
Grange Barn has 4 fantastic caterers for couples to choose from, offering plenty of flexibility. Their bar is run by The Estate Boys, who are fun, quirky and very reasonable. Grange Barn doesn’t charge any corkage.
We only do one wedding a week to allow couples to have the barn all weekend, from Friday until Sunday! This means our couples can dress the barn on the Friday and feel all relaxed ready for their wedding day on Saturday.
We have four caterers (owner Sally is a BIG foody so spent a long time choosing them!). They are all brilliant and offer lots of flexibility to suit all budgets and tastes. Example menus and pricing guides can be found on our website.
Included in the venue hire price is an events manager. Our wonderful manager has over 10 years experience in the wedding planning industry and will make sure that your day runs seamlessly.
6-8 weeks before your wedding, our coordinator will be in touch to organise a meeting with you both to talk through all of the details regarding your special day. From this point on, they will be your point of contact and will touch base with your suppliers to ensure they all know what they are doing and to what time scales.
The day before your wedding, they will be at Grange Barn for a few hours in the afternoon to give you any support you need in setting up. They will be on site from start to finish on your wedding day, ensuring that everything runs exactly to plan and to time. Finally, they will pop into Grange Barn on Sunday to support you with clearing everything from the venue.
