Grange Barn

Where do we start, we took a leap of faith with Grange Barn, when we went to view the barn it was yet to be renovated but we fell in love with the barn, location and everything that came with it. We then fell in love a little more when we went to view it completed on the Open Day in June. Not only were the barn and views spectacular but the fact that we had the barn from the Friday lunchtime through to the Sunday was a huge selling point. It made our wedding feel special and that we weren’t just a number in a wedding factory. Our wedding journey with Grange Barn was the dream from start to finish, Sally’s professionalism and swift responses to any of our questions left us in no doubt that we had made the right decision. On the weekend of the wedding Marcy (the wedding coordinator) was there to help and support us with the preparations. She ensured the whole day ran smoothly (which it did) and blended in as one of the guests. We loved being able to make the barn our own and put our own stamp on it. Every wedding at Grange Barn is very different making it even more special for each couple. We were the first couple to get married off site at Marbury Church, a beautiful church with a fantastic vicar a mile down the road. The transition from church to barn was really smooth and Marcy, bar and catering staff ensured everything was ready for our arrival. Choosing a wedding venue for our big day was a huge decision but we made the best decision picking Grange Barn as our venue, we cannot recommend Grange Barn enough!

We held our wedding at Grange Barn on the 17th August 2019. We decided to have both our ceremony and reception all under one roof. Grange Barn was the perfect venue for this. We received so many compliments from our guests. They absolutely loved the venue and couldn’t get over the views. It certainly made for some beautiful photos with our family and friends. If you’re looking for a rustic country wedding, this is the venue for you!

Dream Wedding…Our son Bill married the lovely Alice here and were the Grange Barns’ first couple to marry there. Such a special day was had by all – staff couldn’t have been more attentive and l can’t wait to see the photos and film! So we can relive it all again.

What an amazing place Sally and family have created. From the very first visit up until our wedding day we just knew we had chosen the right venue. Sally and Marcy were so thorough, helping us plan and consider everything without any pressure to have the day anything but our own. We will be genuinely sad to not have any more visits! The day itself was unforgettable, Marcy ensured it ran like clockwork. The feedback from guests was fantastic, everyone had a great day. Thank you for helping us create the day we wanted, it was just perfect.

Our wedding day in June and the whole build-up towards the big day was perfect.

Grange Barn was the first and last venue we viewed. We loved it straight away and thought it was great for us, and so many people on the day commented on how perfect the venue was, especially in the sunshine.

Sally was a great point of contact at the beginning, and Rebecca was great with all the planning leading up. On the day, we had Stacey as the coordinator, and she was great, she kept everything moving and helped make sure everyone was having a great day. Their experience really put us at ease. They were able to help with organising the suppliers, order of the day and any questions we had.

We had the most relaxed day and enjoyed every minute. The stay in The Loft the night before and of the wedding made getting ready really easy and helped us chill out.

We could not recommend this venue enough it was perfect.

Married June 2024

After viewing a few venues and not really finding one we fell in love with, we started to lose hope! We found The Grange Barn online and booked to view it. Instantly, as we pulled up, we were blown away by how stunning the venue was (this was even completely stripped back with no venue dressing). From the minute we stepped in, Sally and Rebecca have been nothing short of absolutely exceptional and have made the whole lead-up to the wedding and the wedding day completely amazing! We had continuous support and check-ins, which made the wedding day completely seamless. The bar staff at vivid were amazing on the night and also so professional, we used the recommend DJ also through vivid entertainment and had us and guests up on the dance floor all night! We used big 5 catering which also exceeded our expectations, again on the lead up to the wedding Darren was easily contactable and gave us great recommendations, the food was amazing and they were also able to accommodate any diet requirements we had for our guests. Overall, our day was absolutely perfect! The loft was an amazing place to stay and had plenty of room for getting ready (I had eight bridesmaids, my mum, my sister and our flower girl getting ready, with a hair and makeup artist, but there was still plenty of room without feeling compact. The venue as a whole and the grounds are so gorgeous (we certainly thought so and were told so by so many of our guests); it was exactly what we had imagined when we decided we didn’t want a hotel or church wedding. My wife and I took a leap of faith with Grange Barn as we were the very first couple to ever marry there in July 2019. From start to finish they were the dream people to work with, mainly because of their chilled exterior mixed with their meticulous attention to detail. They are classy, cool and didn’t ever flutter with irritation however big the day kept getting. Throughout the day their main concern was for us to enjoy it, while behind the scenes they were squirrelling away juggling all sorts of things. To choose here is the next best decision you will make, and worth every penny…

Our wedding at Grange Barn was honestly nothing short of perfection. It was the only venue we visited because we felt from online there was nothing else like it. When we went to view it with Sally, the place was even better in real life. It was a jaw-dropping moment, and we left signing up there and then with no regrets.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, what Sally and her family have done to convert this barn into this unmatchable wedding venue, is so impressive. The views are to die for, no matter the weather. The bridal suite getting ready with my mum and all my girls was such a comfortable, big and luxurious space for all 10 of us, including the hair and makeup girls, we loved it. Then, waving all our guests off and just having to walk up the stairs at the end of the night was perfect!

All of the staff on the bar, waiters and waitresses were so helpful, so happy, and just spot on in every single way; they all looked after all our guests so well, and also made me and my husband feel so special all day and all night! Sally, the owner, is just a dream, I knew straight away we were in good hands, she is the perfect balance of professional and down to earth. When the wedding plans commenced, in came Rebecca, literally sent from heaven. I’m confident that is where Sally found her. Honestly, I could not have got through all my planning and the day without her. She was absolutely incredible, and like all the other staff, she did it all with a smile on her face, plus we always had a laugh! Simon from the bar company, what a great guy to work with who literally just wants the best for you, nothing was ever a bother.

The moral of my review is simply this: There are so many wedding venues you can choose from; they are all beautiful in their own way, and that’s so important, but if you don’t get your team around you right, it can make it a whole different experience to ours. For me, Grange Barn has that stunning and breathtaking venue but also the completely perfect team of people who you just want to be around, who will genuinely enjoy helping you organise your wedding, support you from the very day you visit and all the way through to after your wedding. They also all work really well together. One of the biggest and most consistent compliments we received from our guests was how top all the staff were. It makes all the difference, and you really don’t think about that when you book your wedding, as all we all want is that perfect, beautiful venue; the team around you is so easily overlooked, and for me, it was one of the biggest perfect parts of our wedding. We’ll be forever grateful to them all.

Wow! What an incredibly beautiful wedding venue. As a venue, it had everything we were searching for. It was rustic, romantic and had a very personal country barn feel. We have booked Grange Barn for July 2020!

We booked our wedding based on the vision and expertise of everyone at Grange Barn. It’s quite clearly being run by people who know what they are doing and the customer care and attention to detail is excellent. Would recommend anyone to book for their event here… A pleasure.

From the moment we walked into Grange Barn during the open day, we knew it was the perfect venue for our wedding. Everything about the barn made us fall in love instantly, and we were blown away by how stunning and rustic it was.

Having the venue for the entire weekend was such a wonderful touch. We loved being able to stay on-site in the gorgeous Loft accommodation, which was a perfect place to relax and prepare before the big day.

A special mention has to go to Rebecca, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely fantastic. She ensured everything went smoothly on the day and was always on hand to help with anything we needed. Her attention to detail and calm demeanour gave us so much peace of mind, knowing that everything was in safe hands. She truly went above and beyond to make sure the day was perfect and as special as possible. Her hard work and professionalism made the whole experience even more enjoyable, so we are incredibly grateful to her.

We honestly can’t thank Sally and the team at Grange Barn enough for making our wedding weekend so memorable. All of our guests have said just how beautiful the venue was. It truly exceeded all expectations. If you’re looking for a beautiful, stress-free venue with a team that truly cares, Grange Barn is an absolute gem!

The wedding venue of dreams!

We’re not really sure where to start with this venue of dreams! Firstly, we cannot thank Grange Barn, Rebecca and Stacey enough for making our wedding day so truly special. We’re not sure how we would have pulled it all off without their amazing support and organisation throughout the entire process! Unlike so many venues that we researched and viewed, we got this gorgeous venue and the beautiful Loft for the whole weekend, and it was the best decision we could have made! So spacious and cosy, the venue has such a lovely family feel about it, and as a more introverted couple who just wanted to have a stress-free and fun celebration with our loved ones, we certainly had a day to remember! The gorgeous twinkly lights and the rustic decor lend so well to so many different colour schemes and to all seasons. If we could do it all again (and we wish that we could), we would pick Grange Barn again!
