Just a note to say thank you to each one of you who made our day so special. Everything was so perfect and there were so many little details we really appreciated. Thank you to the person tho got me that glass of water before I walked down the aisle, and to the person who delivered our own plate of canapés. You guys made everything so easy and I can’t thank you enough for making me and Jack feel at ease. Thank you for everything you did on the day – we didn’t have to worry or think about anything except enjoying ourselves. Everything ran so smoothly and we had the best day ever.
We had our wedding at Crumplebury at the start of November. It is a truly beautiful venue set in peaceful countryside and the autumnal colours were exactly what we wanted.
The menu for the day was created specifically for us and the food was delicious but also good value. We were invited to the Green Cow kitchen to try their tasting menu which was a great experience in the lead up to the wedding. The team were outstanding throughout the planning process and were on hand during the day to ensure it went smoothly – we can’t fault their service.
Thank you so much for helping to make our day perfect!
Crumplebury will always have a special place in our hearts.
Fallon and I would not change a single thing about our wedding day. From our first engagement with Gabriella, we knew this was the venue for us. The setting is beautiful, the venue; modern and unique. It really does stand out from the crowd.
We visited Crumplebury numerous times prior to the big day, sampling the artistry and craft from the Green Cow Kitchens, their chefs are very talented. The whole team are warm, professional and very flexible to make your dreams reality. Keeleigh is fantastic in her field; on the ball, attention to detail and offered great support and guidance throughout. Other members of the team also can not be faulted… knowledgable of the area, heritage, and the finer things in life – wine!
We loved our wedding day. And many of our guests continue to say just how amazed they were with the experience. It won’t be the last visit to Crumplebury, we will continue to visit to experience their excellent service and food, hopefully many times again.
If you are looking for a luxury day at a reasonable price, then look no further.
Right from the start, the team were so accommodating, helpful and supportive. We felt extremely well looked after throughout the whole experience. We loved that we could visit as many times as we liked beforehand to get an idea of themes and decor, and to explore the 1,500-acre estate. It was so handy being given the time to set up the day before – it felt very intimate and we were not rushed in the slightest.
The day itself was incredible, we were so well looked after by the team. The food is locally-sourced from the farm and surrounding area and prepared on-site, at Green Cow Kitchens, which was really important to us. There is plenty of space at the venue – we had 65 in the day and 100 in the evening – it could have definitely held more.
Thank you so much. We can’t wait to come back and visit Green Cow Kitchens for our anniversary.
Where do we even begin to explain how wonderful Crumplebury is?
We first saw the venue as a shell of a building, as it was still being built at the time when my husband and I were newly engaged and looking for our dream wedding venue. Even as a building site, we knew that it was something truly special; and the passion Joe and Keeley showed when explaining to us their dreams for Crumplebury and the atmosphere they were hoping to create was so inspiring; we knew we couldn’t get married anywhere else.
We then began liaising with Gabriella to organise our dream day; and she was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. Her warmth, willingness to help and professionalism were massively appreciated in the lead up to the wedding; she is an absolute credit to the team and she ensured that we had the best day of our lives. At no point did we feel like we were on a ‘wedding conveyor belt’, we were so well looked after and we are so thankful that we could enjoy a whole weekend of wedding festivities with our nearest and dearest. The venue is also perfect for food lovers; with everything from the canapés, sit-down meals, and breakfasts the morning after being truly outstanding. Thank you so much to the chef who put together the amazing menus for us, and for ensuring our tummies didn’t rumble for the whole weekend!
We cannot wait to return to Crumplebury in the future, whether it be a woodland feast or other dining event. You have gained two extremely happy, loyal customers and thank you once again for making our dream wedding a reality.
If you’re looking for the venue with a ‘WOW’ factor, you can stop the search now because this venue is just incredible.
It was hugely important to us to not only love the venue, but to love the people that run it, after all, your dream day is going to be in their hands. From the first email communication with Gabriella I knew I trusted her and then it was just to see the venue, we had all our fingers and toes crossed that it would tick all the boxes and my gosh it didn’t disappoint. The team completely understood our need for a “non-wedding wedding”. Other than the ceremony we wanted to strip out all the other traditions because this was about spending time with friends and family and to have fun. Our weekend was incredibly special, not only to the two of us, but our children and our guests. Our guests were blown away with the venue, location and staff and I know they’re spreading the word to new couples far and wide.
Crumplebury has a personality like no other, it’s a total gem that’s going to take the wedding industry by storm, it will be THE PLACE to get married. Just the personalisation and individuality sets it head and shoulders above the rest, and the accommodation just speaks for itself. Bath anyone? Thank you for all your hard work in making our wedding a weekend to remember.

Here at Crumplebury, it's all about the food.
Our home farm has herds of organic Shorthorn, Hereford and Saler beef cattle, Tamworth and Gloucester Old Spot pigs, and Lleyn sheep. In season, our gamekeepers bring venison, pheasant, partridge, rabbit and duck straight to our kitchen door and our chef's forage for puffballs, elderflower, nettle and pine along with hedgerow fruits and berries. The raised beds in our kitchen garden are bursting with heritage tomatoes and beetroot, salad crops, root vegetables and old English fruit varieties.
Food is at the heart of everything we do, and each dish celebrates the seasonal bounty of our home farm and estate. Spend time with our chefs, General Manager and sommelier and design your perfect foodie experience.
We have 11 luxury bedrooms, sleeping 22 guests.
Each is named after one of the Farms & Coppices on the estate - copies of our old estate maps hang on the walls to let you know exactly where you are. Each has a ginormous roll-top bath, a deliciously comfy bed, low lighting, inky blue walls, and views to die for. The Oakley is our most magnificent suite with a copper roll-top bath and four-poster bed. Longfield Cottage, our luxurious self-catering property, is across the wildflower meadow-two bedrooms, sleeping four, and a wood-fired hot tub in the private garden with spectacular views. It's just the place to toast 'one more sleep' before the big day.
Our Head of Events will oversee everything, and her exceptional team will take time to get to know you. We listen and pay fierce attention to the little details. These are what make a celebration uniquely yours. You can engage in the organisation as much or as little as you like. From sharing our little black book of trusted suppliers to orchestrating a sequence of personal experiences, we delight in making your dreams come true.
Crumplebury's spaces and our fabulous team will be at your disposal throughout the celebration.
Enjoy exclusive use of Crumplebury's indoor spaces - The Grand Hall, Atrium, Art Gallery, Drinking Trough, Snug and Sunken Terrace - throughout your day and all of our spoiling bedrooms (10 suites and The Oakley) on the night of your wedding.
Spill onto the home farm fields for cocktails or delve into the woods for a pre-wedding, black-tie feast. Round up your herd for a fierce competition of rounders under the Crumplebury Cedar. Challenge your guests to a clay shoot. Take a cocktail-making masterclass. Follow the winding Sapey Brook down to the meadow and find the farm Landy - converted into a barbecue and bar - to feast on sizzling Crumplebury sausages with cold beers and fizz aplenty.
The sky is the limit.
