The Setting

Colshaw Hall is situated on a private 300-acre country estate in Over Peover, a gem of a village just outside Knutsford. This stunning rural location is within easy reach of Wilmslow, Hale and Alderley Edge and all major rail transport networks.

The Vibe

Colshaw Hall is an exclusive, bespoke country estate venue. It’s a peaceful and private place to get married and combines the best of country hall chic, with immaculate, contemporary interiors.

To help you get prepared for the big day ahead, Colshaw Hall have an elegant Makeup Lounge with stunning décor and plenty of space to get aisle-ready. There’s also ‘The Den’, a spacious area where the wedding party can relax and even indulge in a game of table tennis and table football before the ceremony.

There’s a barn-style ceremony room with oak beams, limestone floors and light-filled leaded windows which overlooks a lake and fountain. Once your ceremony is complete you can toast your wedding in the manicured walled gardens just outside the Peel Suite which is a dedicated space for your wedding breakfast and evening celebrations. If you wish to take a break from the dancing there is a stylish bar and Pavilion which has ample space for your family and friends. You’ll have full exclusive use of the estate including Japanese, Magnolia and Walled Gardens, a lake and fountains as a backdrop for your wedding photographs.

When your day is complete you can stay in the luxurious hall itself complete with seven interior-designed bespoke bedrooms. Colshaw Hall also has cottages, eco-pods and a gatehouse lodge on site, so can sleep 44 with plenty of other accommodation nearby. Breakfast the next morning is complimentary and served in the Orangery.

When you book at Colshaw Hall you also receive a toastmaster and wedding coordinator included in the price who look after you on the run up to and on your big day. It’s a magical family-run venue that has consistently positive feedback!

Sarah and Toastmaster Ian were amazing, always making sure everything was going to plan whilst at the same making sure you as the bride and groom have the best day. We had been to see 11 venues before Colshaw Hall and as soon as we entered the drive we new this was the one. You won’t want to leave, it’s just gorgeous. We could not have picked a better place, from its stunning grounds to the beautiful house, every detail taken care of. The staff were amazing and sort everything that you wouldn’t even think of – they honestly do think of everything, it’s unbelievable. Also a big thanks to the catering staff. The service was amazing and 80 people had their meals in minutes. There was never any waiting at the bar for drinks – just excellent service and the food was top quality. A big thank you to Sarah who helped us leading up to our day and was also there all through the wedding day. Everyone was great! We had an absolutely amazing day, thank you Colshaw Hall and all the staff. I almost forgot the toastmaster. Wow, what a top bloke. You completed our day, you are fab.
