We could not have dreamt of a more perfect day at a more perfect venue. COVID-19 has impacted lots of things including our wedding arrangements, however, the entire team at Brinkburn could not have been more supportive and flexible. From start to finish they were the absolute dream team and we felt they genuinely cared about our needs and wants for our day as individuals. We were communicated with throughout the entire process and Brinkburn were highly professional throughout. We loved every single second of the entire weekend. Choosing a venue for the biggest day of your life is a difficult decision to make but you will not be disappointed with Brinkburn.

Where to start! As soon as we walked down the path to brinkburn we knew we wanted to get married there! It’s such an amazing and special place. Then we met Jess, the true hidden gem of Brinkburn. Throughout the planning, she was so organised, calm and understanding. We always had all of our trust in her and the team. The day was perfection and felt so stress-free knowing the team at Brinkburn were totally in control. So many people have told us how perfect the day was, and that is so down to this amazing venue and the people involved. Our day was perfect beyond our wildest dreams I can’t thank the team and all the suppliers for giving us memory’s that last a lifetime. We want to come back and do it all again! Thank you so much

Married April 2026

As soon as we visited Brinkburn we knew it was the venue for us. It’s secluded on the bend of a river and feels completely magical, like nowhere we’d seen before or since! We chose to use the manor house for our humanist ceremony as we thought it really suited us a couple. There are several different locations for your guests throughout the day – manor house/priory, river terrace for the reception, tipi for the wedding breakfast and the White Room for dancing – so you never get bored with your surroundings or feel like you’ve been in one place for too long. Jess and the team were brilliant wedding coordinators and put up with our many, many questions with patience and kindness! We had a few unusual requests, and they went out of their way to help make everything happen just as we wanted. The day itself went off without a hitch, and we had so many people say it was the best wedding they’d been to (I know everyone always says that, but it felt like they really meant it!) – everyone was in awe of the venue and how magical it was. We’re so glad we got married at Brinkburn. A huge thank you to Jess and the team!!

Matthew and I just wanted to say a big thank you for helping make our wedding the most amazing day. Everything went so smoothly, flowing from one part to another with no issues, and thank you for giving our guests such a lovely welcome. You had such a sense of calmness throughout the whole wedding planning and even on the day, which majorly helped keep us calm and just enjoy our day with no stressing. We had so many comments on how calm we were leading up to the big day and I can say it was because we had full confidence in knowing we had a great team at Brinkburn that would ensure our day went perfectly. We also loved the fact we had the full weekend to celebrate becoming Mr and Mrs Fee, welcoming close family back to the venue on the Sunday to continue celebrations and enjoy the lovely weather. A lot of our guests were so impressed with the Brinkburn team and although many people weren’t initially familiar with Brinkburn, they said it was one of the (if not the) most beautiful venue they had seen/experienced. After such a long time having the wedding booked and so many visits up to the venue, we’re gutted it’s all over! But we will definitely be back to visit and will even try booking up on our anniversary to keep Brinkburn as our special place! Once again, thank you so much!

Wow! Where do we begin… Having our wedding at Brinkburn Priory really was a dream come true. A weekend we will cherish forever and that we wish we could do all over again. From the moment we viewed Brinkburn as a potential wedding venue, we knew it was the one. Not only does it have the most magical feel, but it is private and secluded, and there is something very special about walking down the long road towards the venue and getting your first glimpse of the Priory and the tipi. We had the lovely Jess as our wedding coordinator through the whole process, and she helped us with every little detail, even the ones we didn’t think of ourselves, and made us feel at ease the whole way through. Jess was so friendly and welcoming and responded to all of our emails so quickly (thank you, Jess, for responding so quickly to my last minute panic daily emails in the run-up to the big day!). Jess was also ab absolute star on the day and ensured the day ran so smoothly. Our wedding weekend was honestly the best weekend of our lives and the venue is so magical. We booked the Stables accommodation and all the cottages too so our family and friends had somewhere to relax for the weekend, all the accommodation is immaculate and beautiful and all of our guests were wowed. Everyone commented on how perfect and beautiful the whole day was, from the grand ceremony which certainly has the wow factor in the Priory to the amazing food we had served for our wedding breakfast in the incredible tipi and, my personal favourite, the epic White Room which turns into the perfect pink disco room. Thank you to all the Brinkburn Team for allowing us to celebrate our wedding at the most stunning venue and for making us feel so welcome and special. We will never forget our perfect weekend.

The best weekend of our lives! This venue is faultless – from the planning experience and support from Jess, to the actual venue itself and the pure beauty of its surroundings, to the gorgeous accommodation on site, to the insane food, we literally couldn’t have asked for more and are so grateful to everyone at Brinkburn. I would recommend this venue to anyone who is considering getting married in the North East, you will not regret it!

Following a lot of research, Brinkburn was the first (and only, it turned out!) venue we visited – we knew straightaway that it was the place for us. From our first conversation with Jess, we knew that we would not need to worry about anything throughout the planning process right up until the Monday morning we reluctantly checked out after our perfect wedding weekend. Brinkburn is simply stunning, and Jess and her team are so flexible, professional and happy to help. From recommending suppliers, to answering our (many, many) questions quickly and clearly, to just being a wonderful supportive presence from the moment we arrived on the Friday afternoon, Jess has been simply invaluable. We just wish we could go back and do it all over again!

My wife and I originally visited Brinkburn back in October 2018 and were blown away with how beautiful it was. We’d visited several other venues in the area, but Brinkburn felt extra special. The venue and accommodation were immaculately presented and it’s such a magical and beautiful place. I can’t describe how welcome you are made to feel staying there. Nothing is too much trouble, and you have access to the entire venue for the whole weekend. The guests were equally blown away and couldn’t stop commenting on how nice the staff and venue was. The staff made our day extra special, and we can’t thank them enough. We can’t recommend Brinkburn enough.

For me and my wife, since we first walked around the venue, we both knew it was perfect for us. Throughout the pandemic, the Team have been amazing and couldn’t have wished to get married at any other venue. From the cottages the Priory, to the Tipi, Brinkburn is such an amazing and beautiful place. All our family and friends had the most amazing time ever, can we do it again!

We wanted to thank you for helping us to have the most perfect wedding day. Aside from having the most beautiful venue in existence – all our guests were blown away and our photographer, Jess, is now obsessed – we are so grateful for all your help. Thanks for being so organised in the run up, you made it feel effortless! And you were wonderful on the day and made the whole thing run seamlessly. All our guests commented on your professionalism. We can’t thank you enough.

We got married at Brinkburn Northumberland in July and have the most amazing day! The staff were amazing and especially during a year of so many unknowns. We are so thankful for our special day and everything that went into it. I would highly recommend to future couples and anyone who just wants to spend some time away in beautiful Northumberland.

We just want to say the biggest thank you to all of you at Brinkburn… Leah, I’m not sure if we said thank you enough! Arranging a wedding from Dubai probably should have been stressful, but it wasn’t at all and that’s all thanks to you and the team at Brinkburn. My mam asked us yesterday – “IF there was anything at all you could have changed what would it be?” And we both replied “NOTHING at all” I think that’s a pretty amazing day. After a long flight from Dubai and driving up and down the A1 for 5 days to many different wedding venues, when arriving at Brinkburn we knew this was the one. There was no doubt about it, this was the most magical, beautiful, unreal venue we’d ever seen. Not only was the priory the most amazing building, with all of its history but the tipis were so cute and that touch of modern class – it was just the perfect venue for us. I could go on and on about the venue and settings forever, but without an amazing team running Brinkburn, it wouldn’t be the same. There’s not one thing that went wrong on the day – again that’s all down to you guys. Brinkburn – you have been amazing and we wish we could do it all over again. THANK YOU for the best day of our lives!

From the moment we viewed the venue, we knew it was the perfect setting for our wedding – needless to say, we didn’t look any further! A compact and intimate venue in the most beautiful location. The whole process was seamless from securing the booking to the final details before our big day. The staff were efficient and friendly – nothing was too much trouble. They maintained professionalism throughout the entire process. Jess took the stress out of the whole planning experience – sourcing suppliers, providing invaluable advice and reassurance and keeping everything on track. We never felt under pressure at any point in the process. On the Friday all the ladies gathered in The Stables (main accommodation) for drinks and nibbles – plenty of space for indoor entertaining. On the day of our wedding Jess and the team worked, almost inconspicuously, to ensure everything went to plan and without a hitch. We didn’t worry about anything. On the Sunday we entertained approx 30 guests. The terrace was just perfect, and the sun shone down – such an idyllic setting with stunning scenery. Brinkburn certainly met all of our expectations.

We got married at Brinkburn Priory at the end of August and our day was everything we dreamed of and more. From our first viewing, we knew Brinkburn was the venue for us; it’s such a special and magical place, like a fairytale! From our first contact and throughout the planning process, Jess was fantastic, super responsive, organised and helpful with any questions we had – she really is brilliant at her job! Jess, Mark and the rest of the Brinkburn team ensured our weekend ran smoothly and was exactly as we wanted it to be! Our guests all said the venue was stunning and everyone had a great day! The cottages are beautiful, and we felt so comfortable and at home staying for the weekend! Thank you so much, Brinkburn, for making our special day so perfect!

A huge thank you to Jess and her wonderful team at Brinkburn Priory. Wow, this venue exceeded all expectations! From the moment we went to view it over one year ago, we knew it would be the place for our wedding. From getting married in the priory, to the meal in the tipi and being able to share a full weekend with all our closest family and friends at such an idyllic location, this venue offered everything we hoped for and more! Jess was exceptional throughout the whole planning process; her meetings throughout the year in the lead-up to the wedding were so reassuring, and you could drop her an email anytime, and she would get back to you; no question was ever too silly! The day itself ran so smoothly… we didn’t have to think about anything; it ran like clockwork just as promised, and the team were all so lovely. Big mention to Justine too, who was so so wonderful throughout the weekend and on the evening and was just the loveliest lady! All the staff were second to none, and nothing was too much for them, and everything was thought of and taken care of throughout. We smiled throughout the whole day as it was just seamless, as Jess had contacted all suppliers and kept them all on time throughout. The food was also wonderful (big mention to Dan, the amazing caterer at 1901 who does all the weddings here, and we had so many compliments to say it was the best wedding food our guests had ever eaten!). The whole experience and day itself felt so personal and special to us, and that’s down to Jess and her wonderful team who make you feel like that, again thank you so so much for everything. You all delivered and more! We will cherish this weekend forever! And our wedding was the best day of our lives!

We got married at Brinkburn in the Priory on the 5th October, staying the night before and night of the big day. The venue is just absolutely beautiful, the most stunning accommodation and all of our guests were in awe at the Priory and tipi, they are just breathtaking! If you are wanting Pinterest worthy wedding photos… you’ll definitely get them here! Every experience working with the team at Brinkburn has been amazing, from the open days, our menu tasting, the rehearsal to the wedding. Each step is planned to perfection and Ewan like clockwork, Jess our coordinator was not only the most calm and professional person, but she helped make us feel right at home and keep stress levels right down! She went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it to be. By the time we checked out she felt so familiar to us and felt like part of the family, not once did we feel like we were just ‘another couple getting married,’ Jess and the team made us feel so special, they truly care about you and will pull out all stops to give you what you’re looking for! And the food!… OMG wow it’s by far the best thing you’ll taste in your life!! Dan and the catering team are absolutely brilliant! We had slow cooked shin of beef which just melted in your mouth! We had a band in the white room where our guests partied all night, but the set-up between the white room, tipi and terrace area is just perfect and is something we have never seen anywhere else, our music played through to the tipi so whether you fancied a break from the dance floor or wanted a drink from the bar it didn’t feel like you had to leave the party. Everywhere is so inclusive yet lovely and private at the same time! Brinkburn is simply magical!!
