Low Hall The Lakes

We cannot express how overjoyed we were to 1) have low hall as our wedding venue, and 2) have such great people behind the venue in Francesca, Ben and the team.

As a B&B, spot on, wonderful breakfast, gorgeous rooms, and a tea cake. Come on, who doesn’t love a pillow chocolate. As a venue, as people, it was perfect from start to finish, their organisation, their professionalism, their loveable barn and woodland area is a canvas to be used however you feel and paints a perfect picture of your day. The styling that is already present is enough to get married in without lifting a finger.

We have been excited from day 1 after looking round here, to meeting the team, and finally getting to our wedding day. The lane, off the road is a perfect start to any wedding day, and is followed up by the best service and treatment from low hall. They also give you some cracking recommendations for suppliers, whether you know the area or not, follow their lead and you will Not be disappointed. Safe to say we will only do this once, but my god, if we could re-live it all again, we couldn’t pick a more perfect place, with more perfect people.

Perrie and I had the most wonderful day filled with joy and laughter, it was better than we ever could have imagined. All of your team worked so seamlessly together, everyone has said how lovely you all were and what a magical place Low Hall is. The attention to detail and care shown to us and all of our guests really made the experience extra special. You really went above and beyond whenever you could and it was massively appreciated, thank you so much.

What can I say, this is the BEST wedding venue ever!! We got married here in June and had just the most amazing day from start to finish. The location and barn are so beautiful and Ben and Francesca were so lovely and accommodating; nothing was ever too much trouble. We had the most magical day and didn’t once stop smiling; and Low Hall and the team were such a big part of this! Just wish we could do it all again, thank you so much guys!!

We thought we’d have a long engagement, but after speaking with Low Hall The Lakes about their venue and micro weddings, we just thought screw Covid, let’s do it! Let’s get hitched! We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful place to say “I do” and we can’t thank Francesca and Ben enough for arranging all of our suppliers in just a matter of weeks! Their attention to detail and style suited us down to a tee, so we trusted them with everything. All that was left for us to do was find THE DRESS, a lush suit and a couple of gold rings to seal the deal! And a huge thank you to all of our suppliers. Francesca and Ben, your taste is impeccable!

Where do I begin? I’m still riding on the high that was the best day of my life at Low Hall on Tuesday. Fran, Ben and Kate are truly wonderful! So organised from the beginning, they made planning our wedding easy and stress free (even when we turned up on the wrong day!). I couldn’t have asked for a better day. The location is out of this world, the rooms are beautiful, and the barn with its bars is the best. A highlight for me is that you can make it into exactly what you want and choose the drinks and catering, which was really important to me. It’s such a journey planning your wedding, and it’s been a joy to work with them and see their family grow in their process! You guys are the best. Thank you for facilitating the wedding of our dreams. Can we do it again?

For anyone who is thinking of getting married at Low Hall, don’t second guess just do it! The venue, the surroundings, the team – 1000/10. We will continue to recommend Low Hall for the rest of our lives after having our own perfect day there.

Where do we begin?! We can’t quite put into words how stunning, how special, how magical our wedding day was. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you SO much to Francesca, Ben and all of the Low Hall Crew. Our day wouldn’t have been possible without their help and support – they are all truly amazing people, and Low Hall is what it is because of them. I know we are biased – but omg?! Absolutely stunning. All of it!! There isn’t one bit of the venue that isn’t beautiful. Our friends and family loved it so much.

Francesca, Ben – We cried reading your card and opening your lovely gift. Thank you so much. You deserve every success and happiness that comes your way. It has been an absolute pleasure being on this journey with you, and quite frankly, we will miss you guys so much! But I know we’ll keep in touch, and we look forward to following your Low Hall journey as you continue to host more wonderful weddings there and all of the other amazing things that come your way.

So sad that our wedding journey with you is over, but my goodness what a journey it has been!

Just experienced the most amazing wedding/event venue ever in a breathtaking location in the Lake District. With the stunning barn, which housed the wedding reception, and the fabulous accommodation, this place had a genuine wow factor. Can’t thank the hosts, Ben and Francesca, enough for their terrific hospitality. Our bedroom was so beautiful and had the most stunning views ever. An absolute joy in every detail! Simply can’t wait to return to this little bit of heaven tucked away in the countryside in the Lakes.

We got married at Low Hall in April 2023, and it really was the perfect wedding venue. Firstly – it’s gorgeous! The loveable old barn, grounds and the farmhouse have all been so well and tastefully cared for – beautifully decorated and super clean. The views are just amazing, and it is such a peaceful place. The team at Low Hall are also super special – nothing is too much trouble, they’re great at communicating and experts in helping you to throw an amazing celebration! We are so grateful to the whole team for helping make our day feel really special. If you’re looking for a gorgeous wedding venue with a fantastic team, we couldn’t recommend Low Hall more!

We had our wedding at Low Hall in June, the first wedding at the venue. I don’t really know the words to explain how amazing our day was. With a beautiful 2 story barn set in the beautiful surroundings of the Lakes, the place is your own. From traditional to the outrageously quirky, The Lovable Old Barn venue has everything you could possibly need. The accommodation is out of this world… as are the views. Francesca and Ben are wonderful hosts who will make your day a smooth-running dream.

We cannot recommend Low Hall enough to anyone thinking of getting married in the Lake District! We originally booked it without having actually visited because we had heard so many good things, and everyone we spoke to about it said it was the best place. When we finally visited it was even nicer than we thought and is a truly magical place. We recently got married at Low Hall, and the whole experience was perfect. Ben, Francesca and the whole team are amazing, and they have thought of everything. The whole weekend ran like clockwork, and we always felt like we were in the very best hands.

Despite there being loads of family around asking the team 1000 questions, everyone was always happy to chat and made us all feel very at ease! On the day we both felt very relaxed as knew that the team had everything in hand and it couldn’t have gone better. All of the team are lovely and went above and beyond to help make the day as special as possible. They were super helpful with suggestions and ideas for the day and always knew what was the right thing to do.

Low Hall itself is such a beautiful venue set in perfect surroundings and would be perfect for a wedding at any time of year. Ben and Francesca have created the most amazing place to get married and we cannot recommend it highly enough. There were so many nice little touches and they really do think of everything! Thank you so much guys for giving us the best day of our lives and just gutted we can’t do it every year.

This place is perfection. If you’re thinking about getting married here, don’t even hesitate – do it! Couldn’t ask for better scenery and Ben and Francesca are the dream!

We stayed at Low Hall at least 3 times whilst planning our wedding, which we probably didn’t need to do but we just couldn’t keep away! To put it simply, Low Hall is a very special place, and once you visit you’ll want to keep coming back. Francesca and Ben and the whole team are just incredible, so warm, so friendly, so accommodating, and they just make you feel completely at home. Everything is perfect inside and out, with the absolutely gorgeous decor indoors and the stunning scenery outdoors, and the breakfasts are sensational! There is so much attention to detail, and yet they manage to make everything feel so relaxed. Low Hall is the perfect wedding venue. Nestled beneath the hills is the beautiful barn and farmhouse, there’s a pond, a swing, the most glorious gardens, little nooks and seating areas for your guests to discover, a stream, woodland, not to mention the most stylish toilets…what more could you want! It really is a magical place and the whole team made our day so unbelievably special for us. Many of our guests remarked that it was like being at a wedding hosted by a family, and that just about sums it up: being at Low Hall is like being welcomed into the warmest family to experience a very special time that you’ll never forget. We certainly won’t!
