Setting

In a lush corner of the Lake District, a grand Lakeland stone barn and 17th-century farmhouse sit down a long country lane. The secluded grounds are graced with enchanted woodland, a babbling brook, a fairytale pond, and historic character. Here, the captivating views over the Lakeland fells invite endless admiration.

Ceremony

There are various locations for your ceremony, including the beautiful woodland, the characterful farmhouse, or beneath the barn’s eaves. You may choose to say your vows outside, with the hills as your backdrop, or in front of the library’s cosy fire. Full coordination of guests, the wedding party, and registrars is included, along with a ceremony table, chairs, and outdoor seating if desired.

Reception

Inside the Lovable Old Barn, a blank yet characterful canvas awaits, ready for your personal touch. The space is set over two floors, allowing you to host your wedding breakfast beneath the solid oak beams and stunning stone walls, where natural light creates a dreamy air of romance. Guests can gather downstairs in intimate seating areas within old cow milking pens or outside, delighting in breathtaking views.

Discover all kinds of spaces you’ll want to create a feature out of; it might be in the woods, under the weeping willow seat overlooking the pond, by the giant old trees or on the lane where you can switch your guests for cows. A hand-crafted, stunning, solid oak bar will serve whatever tipples you fancy.

There is disabled access throughout the downstairs of the barn, featuring an additional bar and an accessible toilet. Access to the woods and garden is available, although the ground may be uneven.
