Thorpe Manor has just undergone a 3 year renovation involving completely gutting the house! The house itself has a fascinating history including links to Oliver Cromwell, and in more recent times links to National Hunt Horse Racing. The house is nestled in its 200 acre estate and boasts 14 huge ensuite bedrooms, a cinema, games room, gym, bar and several large reception rooms – perfect for wedding parties.
We wanted to create a very homely but very luxurious house whilst complementing and enchanting the architectural features and gorgeous Georgian proportions. Comfort, easy, luxury, countryside and glamour all help to sum up the style of Thorpe Manor!
There are so many things I love about the house but the grounds really do steal my heart. We have a beautiful 4-tier lawn with orchards – super romantic! I’m also rather partial to the large bedrooms and equally impressive in size bathrooms.
You’ll find 14 bedrooms and 13 bathrooms in which to relax and unwind, from cosy Attic rooms under the eaves to generously spacious masters – complete with free-standing double soaking baths and rainforest showers. Collapse into the magnificent beds and wake to the tranquil views of your rural surroundings. Each bedroom is equipped with modern comforts, such as Nespresso machines.
Couples can expect a very bespoke and exclusive wedding at Thorpe Manor, a wedding that has so much potential to be made their own. You can expect beautiful rooms, lots of kind and welcoming hospitality from our Butlers and staff, to be completely looked after and made to feel like Kings and Queens.
If you choose our home then you will want for nothing, and will be blown away by our food – the fire pit lamb being a very popular speciality. Furthermore, as we are a brand new venue – you will be amongst the first to get married here and have a completely unprecedented wedding!
