The Hideaway at Millbridge Court

Millbridge Court is an exclusive use contemporary barn venue based in the heart of the Surrey countryside. They have two interlinking barns for the ceremony and wedding breakfast as well as an intimate reception lounge, separate ‘Late Night Lounge’ and a spacious stone terrace for outside entertaining. They work solely with award winning caterers Kalm Kitchen who bring deliciously local food and exceptional service to every wedding day. For six months of the year couples can also choose to marry outside under the aged oak Arbour, overlooking fields as far as the eye can see. Along with the venue, their seven boutique hotel rooms and The Hideaway are reserved for their couple’s nearest and dearest on the night of the wedding.

A cute little cottage, perfect for the bride & groom, it’s been lovingly created with the signature Millbridge Court interiors and careful attention to detail. In short you’re going to LOVE it.

The Hideaway is the newest addition to Millbridge Court and is a bespoke Bridal Suite nestled amongst mature trees in seasonally-changing landscape. The Hideaway is always reserved for couples upon booking and provides a luxurious and peaceful retreat at the end of a day full of celebration. It features a copper roll-top bath, ‘his and hers’ showers and a super-king sized bed, along with a private deck to enjoy a coffee on before re-joining guests the following morning.

We work with a fabulous interior designer who found inspiration in local architecture to ensure it harmonised with the rural setting and this is reflected in the cabin’s wooden construction. With a blend of new and vintage finds, along with an interspersing of countryside influences, The Hideaway was created with its setting in mind. Inside, there is an abundance of warm wooden features with plenty of light from bespoke French doors leading to a veranda with views over neighbouring fields. The soft furnishings and details are all reflective of the outside being brought in and offer a peaceful setting for the end of a wonderfully memorable wedding day.

One of my favourite aspects of Millbridge Court is that on arrival guests will gather in the front lounge which provides a luxurious home-from-home setting and gives a relaxed and personable feel for the day; but then by moving through to two big event spaces, couples can really provide the ‘wow’ factor for their guests as the venue unveils itself and guests move seamlessly from space to space as the celebrations continue. Our bridal changing room is another one of my favourite features as it provides a large, light and stylish space for that all important getting ready in the morning, and features a one way window to look down onto gathering guests in the ceremony room below.

We pride ourselves in offering a unique, once in a lifetime experience for couples through exceptional service, outstanding food and drink and all within an elegant and peaceful setting.  Throughout the different stages of the wedding planning process, our team are on hand to answer any questions couples may have and guide them through the build-up to the day. Our experienced event coordinators ensure that everything runs seamlessly on the day itself.

With exclusive use of the venue, it really feels like your own country house for the day and provides a private and personal space for family and friends to celebrate a truly wonderful occasion.
