A Private View of Pennard House, Somerset Wedding Venue

I’m smitten with Pennard House.

A beautiful country estate that offers a multitude of delicious spaces for your wedding. From ceremony, to reception, to sleeping under the stars… this wedding venue has it all.

So it’s my pleasure to be telling you all about their upcoming Private Viewing on Saturday 27th September, 11am – 5pm. By appointment only, you can immerse yourself in the history, the stunning surroundings and the revelry that is Pennard House.

Here’s Georgina with some more details!

The idea of the Pennard House Private View developed from our wish to let couples see Pennard House as it is when beautifully decorated on a wedding day.

Because our couples have complete exclusivity on their wedding day, we sometimes find it difficult to squeeze in those who want to visit Pennard House around the weddings taking place. We always want to give potential couples a personal experience but there is often just not enough time!

So we have decided to put aside a Saturday where we will dress all our spaces such as the civil ceremony room, the Coach House, as well as the grounds and gardens, as if there is a wedding happening. Each couple will still meet independently with one of the Pennard House team and have a tour before being able to wander around the gardens themselves and visit the picturesque village church.

Furthermore, there will only be a few key suppliers involved such as our caterers so the couples can taste a canapé or two and of course have a glass of champagne!

In order to make sure that our couples have their own time to discuss their wedding ideas, visits are by appointment only.

We have tried to design the day to really reflect a wedding at Pennard House where we hope our couples have a relaxed, beautiful and unique experience just like their own wedding day!
