After a 12-month transformation, Syrencot has officially opened its doors and is set to be one of Wiltshire’s most romantic wedding venues. Offering an all-inclusive, ultra-chic wedding estate, Syrencot is perfect for couples who want to marry, celebrate and sleep within one enchanting, expansive, exclusive location.
This purpose-designed venue has thrown open the doors to a Georgian mansion, unlocked the gate to a Walled Garden and unveiled a bespoke Farmshed that’s the perfect space for an unforgettable wedding reception.
Couples have a choice of two outstanding ceremony locations. From crumbling stonework dating back to the Victorian period, The Glasshouse has been painstakingly recreated in the footprint of the original building. Now, it offers a ceremony space that is bathed in natural light and puts the couple celebrating at its heart, with glorious views onto the Walled Garden.
The crinkle-crankle, serpentine cobb walls of the Walled Garden will also play host to outdoor ceremonies. Syrencot’s couples can make their vows in the open air, with the garden’s pretty seasonal planting, neatly executed pathways and meadow views for their backdrop. The Glasshouse and outdoor ceremony space can both cater for wedding parties of up to 150.
A drinks reception in this glorious natural setting will follow, before the wedding party make their entrance into Syrencot’s Farmshed. Purpose-built, couples and their guests will be bowled over by the high ceilings, timber features and statement metalwork of this barn-style building. Expert chefs will create culinary experiences to delight with a decadent, fine dining flavour for up to 150 guests.
As the sun sets, the sit-up fire table in the centre of the Farmshed becomes a romantic statement feature. Guests can spill onto the adjoining terrace, a sophisticated setting for a bespoke gin bar perhaps, and congregate beside The Pump House in the corner of the Walled Garden, where chefs will prepare an evening feast over the fire.
