It’s not just Brides & Grooms who use these pages to discover venues, in fact I’d say that we’ve fast become the go-to directory for industry pros seeking out beautiful spaces and delicious light all to create a little magic.
We adore styled shoots, whether it’s designing them, featuring them, or simply playing a small part as matchmaker. Indeed we were very happy to introduce Jana from Verona Lain Photography to the spectacular Dulwich Picture Gallery in London. This backdrop was perfect against the Edwardian styling and yummy colour palette.

A strong feeling of passion was the main source of inspiration for this shoot!
The idea was to create something sensual, colourful and vintage looking. The big Pantone colour for last year was Marsala and although 2016 has seen a softer palette of pink and blue, we still adore this deep rich shade for autumnal nuptials.
Silk ribbons, velvet cake, a vintage wedding dress and a tweed suit helped us to add an inimitable English style to the scene. A couple of words needs to be said about the location – Dulwich Picture Gallery. The gardens at this venue are beautiful and the gallery opened its doors back in the early 19th Century so there’s much love and history here. It remains the oldest public art gallery in England.
