The Setting
Based in Ipsley, Redditch, Old Rectory House is the hidden gem of Worcestershire. A Grade II listed former Rectory, the house has many historical connections. The Doomsday Book lists a building on this site in 1086. The house was completely modernised in 1812, with the Georgian façade added to the front of the original Elizabethan building.
Now a privately-owned venue, you’ll feel right at home when you arrive at the entrance to this award-winning venue and sweeping carriage driveway.
On your wedding day, they will close the gates to all other visitors, giving you exclusive use of the whole venue. This will allow you to share your special day with the people who mean the most to you.
The Vibe
Every wedding at Old Rectory House is unique; the house offers a variety of rooms for your wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast meal for a maximum of 80 guests and the space to host up to 150 of your friends and family for your evening celebrations.
The Orangery is their luxurious Victorian-style orangery with a private covered terrace overlooking the grounds and extensive gardens, with capacities of up to 80 guests.
The Lavender Barn is surrounded by lush flowering lavender and is located in the old stables of the house. Featuring original oak beams running through the room and views onto the central courtyard, this is the perfect setting for up to 40 guests.
The Fig Room is their smaller venue space, which can accommodate up to 18 guests. Overlooking the front of the house through the Georgian sash windows, the Fig Room boasts views of the beautiful historic grounds.
