Tell us about the venue?
The Barn was built in 1889 by Sir Hussey Packe and was originally used as a model farm.
The Barn sat in ruins until 2011 when Edward Packe-Drury-Lowe, the current owner of the Prestwold Estate and great-grandson of Sir Hussey Packe, began our renovation journey. This restoration job focused on rebuilding the walls and roof, but we took it a step further in 2021, turning the Barn into an amazing event venue.
We’ve stayed true to the building’s unique history while creating this modern celebration space. The new additions include showers for our campers and glampers, and heating to keep our guests toasty.
Every bit of The Hall Barns has been designed to ensure that our VIPs can celebrate in style and comfort in this one-of-a-kind setting.
