I spend a lot of time online. Delving, devouring, discovering.
This is how I found today’s Loved by Coco supplier and to say I’m smitten with her work is an understatement. Sarah Brown is an artist and creates the most incredibly intricate and interesting pieces of jewellery. Perfect for the boho princesses and coastal chicks amongst you, Sarah’s collection is bound by rugged coastlines and Scottish heritage.
Come and find out a little more why don’t you…

Sarah: Growing up on the beautiful island of Islay has always given me a rich source of inspiration. After graduating in 2009 from Glasgow School of Art I launched my brand Sarah Brown Jewellery. The rugged Scottish coastline, underwater forests & the patterns formed by the lichens and barnacles on the rocks are constant inspirations for my jewellery.
It was really a natural progression for my brand to become entwined with Bridal jewellery. Having been asked by lots of my customers to make their wedding rings, I decided to create a range that would inspire couples to choose something different. It’s exciting being able to create pieces of jewellery that will play such an important role in people’s lives.
I love the spontaneity of being able to develop a piece especially since wax is a very organic medium to work with. There is no specific design in mind, my pieces come to life as they’re being made. I love the freedom.
My Brand
Organic, spontaneous and detailed describe my work and my brand.
I want to be able to create something unique and timeless that they can pass onto new generations. I love doing customer commissions; working one on one with a client allows them to become part of the design process, making the finished product personal to them.

I try to create pieces that are affordable to any budget, my prices range from £30 for a delicate pendant, to £2,000 for a diamond engagement ring.
I offer discounts when customers buy sets of jewellery. This works really well for customers looking to buy collections of bridal jewellery. I also include complimentary hand-crafted wooden boxes for all engagement and wedding rings over £400.
Advice
Working one-on-one with a designer allows you to have as much input as you would like into creating your perfect ring. It is something you will be wearing for the rest of your life, so to have been involved in the design process really adds to the story of your ring…

Gorgeous right…?
I love these images! The colours are perfect for this season and I’m so excited to have found Sarah. Mostly because I get to play with some of these gems in a couple of weeks time on location for the next Coco Editorial!
