If you swing by to this Shoreditch hub between 4pm – 10pm you can expect to be wowed by floral installations from Worm London, bridal creations from Halfpenny London (a fave!) and enjoy interactive activity throughout the day including make-up consultations from Space NK, a roaming artist from The House of Love, tunes from Xavior’s String Quartet and a panel discussion centred around ‘Love & Marriage’ chaired by Project Love.
I attended last years event (and grabbed myself a fancy room for the night at Ace, which I highly recommend!) and it was a really fab event and oh-so different to the usual wedding fairs you might have experienced already.
The event takes place on Ace Hotel London’s striking, seventh-floor Rooftop and will showcase all spaces including the huge outdoor terrace with panoramic views of London. The ceremony room (pictured in the header) has to be seen and is a glorious blank-canvas space with floor-to-ceiling windows. Guests will experience each space brought to life by the talents of the makers taking part, from the ceremony room decked out with Worm London flowers, and a balloon installation from BonBon Balloons, to the dining room where there will be a chance to sit down and sample food from the hotel’s in-house team.
Focusing on what matters most about weddings, the panel discussion will be chaired by Selina Barker and Vicki Pavitt, co-founders of Project Love and will focus on the topic of ‘Love & Marriage’, with three couples at different stages in their lives talking about marriage and love, as it evolves and grows after the wedding day.
