The wedding stationery, the first real glimpse of your big day… So ruddy exciting!
For me, the stationery purchase was a big one. I wanted to get it just right. The style and feel of the day would be conveyed as each of our wonderful guests peeled open their pretty envelopes to take a peek at what lay inside. The boy thought I was nuts and totally overthinking it.
If your own Groom-to-be is in need of a little persuasion at this planning stage, then the gorgeous array of wedding stationery by Kate Ruth Romey will be sure to perk up his interest! From artisan to quirky, Kate has a very special way with paper.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with this lovely lady and I would recommend her in a heartbeat, come and see why…
Kate: Kate Ruth Romey provides bespoke, design-led wedding stationery.
It all started when I designed a set of postcards for a friend’s wedding – she had a great idea, but didn’t know how to put it in to action, so asked me for help. Suddenly other couples who had seen the finished invitations were asking me to design theirs, and Kate Ruth Romey was born.
I have always been passionate about design, having loved painting and drawing from an early age. I studied Theatre Design at university which lead to a career in visual display so launching my stationery business was really an extension of the skills I had learnt during this time and a way of harnessing my passion for all things creative and visual – I was always destined for a hands on job!
I really love getting to know my clients, and interpreting their personalities and ideas for their wedding day into beautiful, and most importantly unique, individual stationery.
My Brand
I offer completely bespoke wedding stationery, covering all the paper elements of a wedding that you can imagine, from save the date cards, through to full invitation suites, as well as table plans, orders of service, place cards and thank you cards.
The finished stationery is absolutely personal and special – no two designs will ever be the same.
What I want for my couples is for their stationery to be the perfect introduction to their wedding day, something that they can take pride in sending because they have been involved in the process from start to finish.
Prices are based on a bespoke service including a design fee, and highest quality card stock, printing – including foiling, letterpress and engraving – and envelopes.
My Advice
If you are thinking of investing in bespoke wedding stationery it’s handy to tell your designer as much about yourselves and the plans for your day as possible, just a tiny element can create a spark that can act as the basis for the whole design – put your faith in your designer, their talent is to create something that is truly right for you.
