NYBFW Spring 2025: Tythe’s Top 20 Looks from New York Bridal Fashion Week

by Jade Beer, Tythe

From voluminous ballgowns to hand-painted skirts, dramatic mermaid silhouettes and a fabulous mini-dress made from a single piece of Swarovski-embellished fabric. The New York Bridal Fashion Week shows did not disappoint. Here, with the help of our friends at Browns Bride, we share all the looks we can’t wait to see at Tythe…

‘This year marks 25 years of weddings at Tythe in Oxfordshire,’ says Emma Deeley, owner of one of the UK’s most luxurious wedding venues.

‘It has been an incredible privilege watching hundreds of couples celebrate their marriage on our family estate. That’s a lot of vows and Champagne drinking! At Tythe, we typically have 18 months between one of our couples booking a date and the day of the wedding and in that time, a close relationship often develops between the Tythe team and those who choose to marry with us.

‘After months of planning, that first moment our bride appears is unquestionably the most thrilling for me.  I’m lucky to have seen so many different styles of gowns over the years, but I still adore seeing a bride feel her absolute best, wearing a dress just right for her against the backdrop of the Tythe estate. It’s as magical for me today as it has ever been.

‘It has also made me realise that when you marry at a venue as private and as versatile as Tythe, you have an incredible amount of freedom with your choice of dress. Whether you go for a statement-making ballgown, something sleeker, an ethereal gown or one super short with sky-high heels, it will look beautiful amongst the Tythe fields and flowers.

‘Explore our list and let us know if you agree!’

Lueur en Blanc collection (Glow in White)

Joy

An A-line silk tulle gown with a strapless sweetheart neckline covered with iridescent floral beading for a romantic look that will sparkle in the late afternoon sunshine.

Bliss

A Mikado silk dress with a sleek bodice, a square neckline and a voluminous A-line skirt with all-important pockets and a slit to the thigh. It is the perfect choice when you can’t decide whether to go for fitted or full volume.

Harmony

A sheer overlay gown with delicate spaghetti straps, an open back, floral lace appliques, and sequins. A pretty dress made more daring from behind.

Bloom

A full ballgown with a voluminous skirt of ethereal flowers cascading down to a dramatic train. Hitch it up and have fun – this is leg season, after all!

Eliza

Chic and comfortable! The hand pleating in striped satin creates easy volume that glides through the day. No deep breaths are needed!

Demi & Vivienne

It has a relaxed structure for a fully feminine silhouette, and with red carpet draping, it means you could wear it again. Do not miss the new shoe and handbag collection, too.

Mariela

Prepare to make an entrance! This dress features two layers of billowing organza, hand-printed and painted in Italy, perfectly matching Tythe’s wildflowers.

Responsibility of Beauty. The Value of Tradition Collection

Bonnie

Simple and chic for the bride who likes to make a fuss-free impact. Architectural and understated elegance at its best. A dress that Tythe’s double-height barn doors will perfectly frame.

Reflections collection

Sumi

It’s all in the detail. A fitted lace gown decorated with flowers with a matching long-sleeved high-neck topper. Can’t you just picture it on Tythe’s Farmhouse lawns? Us too!

Sally

A sweetheart corset gown that’s off the shoulder and decorated with a delicate floral contour. If this doesn’t move everyone to tears, we don’t know what will.

Jolli

A grand ballgown that works in a barn. The deep V neckline, sleeveless silhouette and smattering of 3D petals make this fairy-tale, not formal. It also comes with detachable detailed shoulder wings for extra wow.

Meya

This dreamy long-sleeved deep V-fitted gown with 3D intricate flowers comes with a matching detachable overskirt. After dark, you can whip it off and head for Tythe’s disco ball.

Elizabeth Fillmore

Resurrection collection, Fall 2024

Claude

Who says it must be a dress? This hammered silk fitted top and trousers are every bit as memorable.

Esme

Do you dare to bare in this Chantilly lace sleeveless trapeze gown with a high ruched lace collar? It can be lined for a more modest (and mother-in-law-approved) look.

Dana Harel

Gaia collection

Ruth

Opt for quiet elegance in this mermaid silhouette made with double satin, an off-the-shoulder scoop neckline, hand-draped bodice and leg slit.

Mia

We’re not sure anyone will remember what the groom was wearing! This strapless gown of intricate beaded lace has organza flowers that bloom upwards from the skirt to the bodice and comes with detachable matching sleeves.

Elle

We love the nipped-in waist on this strapless gown of taffeta silk with a voluminous hand-draped skirt and train.

Natasha

Have your movie-star moment in the ultimate mermaid gown in pearly fabric with a plunging sweetheart neckline.

Renee

Take the after-party to the next level in this strapless mini dress, hand-draped from a single piece of Swarovski-embellished crocheted fabric.

Zoe

This tiny micro mini will look perfect under Tythe’s wisteria arch. It is made from layered soutache lace, with a subtle bubble skirt and low back.
