Sweet Decadence

The shoot combines a vibrant and fresh colour palette with decadent styling, drawing on rich chocolate textures and pastel hues for a romantic wedding scene.

The TIPIS

Tipi Spaces offers unique White Nordic Tipis, which lighten the space and act as a fabulous blank canvas backdrop for any styling. We opted for an informal and playful aesthetic, matching the outdoor setting that Tipi Spaces can provide.

The Brief

Using influence from a much-loved chocolate brand, sweet decadence plays with colour to create a romantic and playful shoot. Set in Spring, this styled shoot’s tasteful palette of softened purples, creamy yellow and delicious browns created a bright contrast to the tipi and drew inspiration from recognisable Easter shades.

The Fashion

The bride wore two designs. The first look was a traditional white strap Aline dress, with a charming embroidered tulle overskirt by Nicola Anne and accessorised with dainty drop earrings and a matching bracelet with a three-stoned ring. The second look was a statement pastel patterned Aline gown with puff sleeves accessorised with a bold purple sapphire and Erin Cox’s signature bubble-inspired jewellery to represent the air bubbles that are seen in textures of chocolate. The hair was pinned into a low, whimsical bun full of soft draping curls, and the make-up was fresh and dewy.

The Flowers & Styling

Swirls, bubbles and curls were used throughout the styling to represent incredible chocolatey textures. Pastel yellow napkins were tied with purple string and placed on biscuit-coloured placemats to continue the aesthetic throughout and complemented the chocolate and lilac-coloured candles. We added gold cutlery for a touch of luxe. Weighing scales and glass boxes were creatively used to show off the sweet treats.

Indy Bloom created maximum impact on the tables with whimsical florals in bud vases along the table and utilised baskets to hold a floor meadow. Indy carefully hung entwined flowers from the hanging drape installation for the dancefloor to create a fun backdrop surrounded by textures, florals and colour.
