Summer Punch at Pynes House

Summer Punch was all about gorgeous luxury, but in a fun, playful way! There was a real focus on gorgeous bright florals and a fashion edge.

The colour palette was a zesty, bright blend of hot pink, candy pink, yellows, and oranges with white and gold as the neutrals—but not too much neutral! We wanted to create a scheme that layered colour upon colour and didn’t just rely on one accent colour on a neutral beige or white base, so the pink tablecloth in the dining room set-up was really important! We wanted a hot summer feel, so lots of outdoor elements, including the cute camper van set-up and fun sunglasses!

Although we wanted it to feel fun, we also wanted the scheme to feel really high-end. So we had some amazing dresses supplied by Lara Belle Bridal, with gorgeous big bows, sequin details, and fantastic asymmetric shoulders. Alongside the luxury dresses, we went with a slightly more fun edge to the hair styling and makeup, with some high, messy ponytails and fun, colourful eyeliners.

The shoot aimed to embrace colour and showcase that a traditional manor house wedding didn’t need to conform to muted or conventional colour palettes. Embracing the hot summer colours, we went full-on floral with masses of beautiful, brightly coloured flowers that stood out against the beautiful architecture of Pynes House.

The tablescape was a full-on colour fest, with ombre flowers running down the centre of the table and bright origami-style place cards that opened up to show menu choices. Fun colour twist candles added to the colour, and light-hearted nature fabric welcome banners and table plans added a modern touch.

This shoot was all about fun, so our gorgeous couple took full opportunity of the pink floral camper photobooth and changed into evening looks with plenty of sparkle, Vera Wang style and sunglasses. We even had a gorgeous dog as a ring bearer!
