From their outdoor ceremony led by a close friend to a menu inspired by the season’s best local produce, every element felt considered and grounded. With rustic tables, garden-style blooms by one of our fave florists, and comfort being the key to all sartorial choices, their day captured the spirit of Cornwall.

We fell in love with Tredudwell the moment we saw it – the location is just incredible. It’s tucked away in the Cornish countryside, offering the most beautiful views and an amazing sense of peace and space. We wanted our guests to experience a bit of Cornwall magic, and Tredudwell really delivered that.
Having so much outdoor space was a huge plus for us – there was room to play, explore, and relax, which gave the whole day a really fun and free-flowing vibe. Nature surrounds you at every turn, making everything feel grounded and special. The reception barn was perfect for our guest numbers – it felt spacious yet cosy – and we had complete freedom to decorate and style it exactly as we wanted. The team were so supportive and gave us the autonomy to really make it our own, which we absolutely loved.

One of the biggest bonuses was being able to access the venue the day before. It gave us plenty of time to set everything up and even conduct a ceremony rehearsal with our wedding party, which helped us feel calm and prepared. We also really appreciated the flexibility. We had the option for an indoor or outdoor ceremony, and on the morning of the wedding, the weather was looking good – so we made the last-minute decision to move it outside. It turned out to be such a magical moment, and we’re so glad we had that choice. Another thing that meant a lot to us was having a celebrant-style ceremony led by our close friend – it made everything feel so personal and heartfelt.

The Tredudwell team were amazing throughout – always communicating with us and super helpful with their recommended suppliers list. We ultimately selected our florist and band from that list, and both were fantastic.
I grew up in Cornwall, and even though we now live in London, it felt really important to get married somewhere that holds a strong connection for us. Sharing that with our guests – many of whom had never been to Cornwall before – was really special. We wanted them to fall in love with it too, and they did!

I knew I wanted an elegant dress that also offered comfort, and so I was thrilled when I found my perfect dress at The Wedding Dress Shop in Wimbledon. I also wanted to add a little tradition with a veil to complete the look. A dress change for the evening meant I could add glam as well as sophistication to the party! This shorter style dress was perfect for dancing, and it was definitely needed!
Our bridesmaids wore full-length soft silk green dresses with a slight cowl-style neckline and capped sleeves. Again, the style offered both elegance and comfort – they all looked stunning! Woulfe and his groom’s party opted for light stone coloured suits – no ties! This was essential for them all to feel relaxed yet stylish. The buttonholes took centre stage on the suits! Style and comfort were achieved for all of us, and they were a blessing on what turned out to be a hot and sunny September day!

It was important for us to be able to personalise our wedding styling in the reception barn. We wanted long, rustic tables, locally grown flowers, and candles… everywhere! Natural and seasonal elements were at the heart of the styling – the barn boasts uninterrupted views, with a sense of being surrounded by nature even when indoors. So, choosing locally grown flowers was the best decision we made, and the colourful candles made a lovely addition to the tables.
We really wanted our flowers to reflect the season and feel as natural as possible. We were drawn to autumn’s rich, warm tones, so we worked with the most talented grower florist, Garden Gate Flower Company, and Becca to choose blooms like vintage-toned zinnias and soft dahlias. Garden roses added scent and romance, while snowberries brought a lovely texture. It was important to us to use locally grown, seasonal flowers—nothing flown in—which meant everything felt fresh, wild, and full of life. The arrangements looked like they’d come straight from the garden, and they brought such a beautiful, grounded energy to the day. We are so grateful to Becca; she was amazing, and the result was stunning.

From the moment we tasted the menu at Couch’s Polperro in November 2023, we knew Richard McGeown would bring our dream wedding breakfast to life. Richard worked his magic, scaling up a seasonal, autumn-inspired menu to serve 100 guests, using some of the finest local produce. The menu felt like a celebration of autumn, with its rich colours, including the red cabbage coulis, and vibrant, fresh ingredients. We loved the smoked salmon starter with blinis, horseradish, and pea shoots, and the roasted Looe scallops with bubble & squeak were simply divine. For the mains, the slow-roasted pork belly with apple puree and sirloin of beef with dauphinois potatoes were unforgettable. Richard’s care in sourcing ingredients from local suppliers, such as Sam at Pengelly’s and Tom at O’Keefe’s, gave us great pride in supporting our community.
It wasn’t just a meal—it was a beautiful experience that truly reflected our love for the season.

We always knew Olivia Rossi Photography was the one! Her work is stunning, and when we first saw our photos, we were quite simply blown away. And such fun too! We never knew having photos taken could be so relaxed. The soft, late summer and early Autumn hues were captured perfectly! September will be our forever favourite month. Olivia also knew Tredudwell, and so she ensured that we were captured in the best spots with the best light.

This is a hard one to narrow down – impossible!
The personalised ceremony in the outdoor temples was unforgettable. As was the afternoon drinks and canapé reception in the grounds, and the evening party was fantastic! Do I really have to choose just one? But the one thing which connected it all was our guests – being surrounded by our friends & family in our most favourite location was something really special. And so much fun!

Choose your favourite location, invite your favourite people, and select a venue that supports your plans. Get that right and everything will fall into place! And have fun! That’s a super important thing to remember – enjoy all the moments.
