Chewton Glen is renowned for creating experiences that feel deeply personal. From the moment you arrive in the courtyard, Georgia and the team are dedicated to delivering impeccable service, ensuring every detail of the day unfolds seamlessly. Whether exchanging vows in the Walled Garden or celebrating in one of the hotel’s beautiful reception rooms, the atmosphere radiates warmth and understated luxury.
The hotel is celebrated for its culinary excellence, with menus rooted in seasonal produce and ingredients sourced from the finest local suppliers, including their very own kitchen gardens. Each dish is thoughtfully crafted to showcase bold flavours and fresh ingredients, creating a wedding breakfast that feels indulgent and memorable. This detail was at the heart of Georgina and Brendan’s ultimate decision.

Fashion played a key role in the couple’s day, with both the bride and groom choosing to make elegant outfit changes.
Georgina looked effortlessly sophisticated in her breathtaking KYHA gown from Anna Bridal Couture, paired with chic Neous heels. Her hair, styled to perfection by Grace Bailey Bridal Hair, completed a look that was nothing short of flawless. She truly embodied timeless elegance and pure beauty.
Brendan, looking equally as stylish, wore a classic Suitsupply ensemble complemented by refined details from Drake’s and Morjas. Together, their fashion choices elevated the celebration – they really were the picture-perfect couple.

Their day began with a cocktail reception in the walled garden, surrounded by summer blooms and grapevines. The bride then made her entrance alongside her mum, dad, and bridesmaids to the sound of a string quartet, before a heartfelt celebrant-led ceremony by Caz the Celebrant, which concluded with a champagne toast to mark the start of the celebrations. As guests mingled in the garden, a jazz band filled the air whilst canapés were served, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a refined summer soirée.
The evening unfolded with a remarkable six-course tasting menu, each dish perfectly paired with its own wine to elevate the dining experience. Candlelit tables adorned with lush florals, bespoke embroidered napkin ties, and beautifully crafted stationery created a warm, intimate setting. At the same time, live music and dancing between courses brought an element of fun and spontaneity.

The floral design was entrusted to the incredibly talented team at Arcade Flowers, whose artistry brought a timeless elegance to the day. The couple chose a classic colour palette featuring soft antique rose tones, delicate pastel pinks, and crimson. Arcade Flowers crafted breathtaking, romantic arrangements, with the Lake Suite’s florals paired with an abundance of candlelight, creating a warm, atmospheric glow that danced across the tables, making the dinner feel truly intimate.
The result was floral styling that felt harmonious with the couple’s vision and perfectly suited to an elegant dinner-party celebration.

The cake, created by Hayley Elizabeth Cake Design, was a beautifully elegant three-tier masterpiece, complementing the overall aesthetic of the day.
Chewton Glen’s culinary team delivered a beautiful dining experience, beginning with canapés and cocktails, followed by one of the highlights of the evening – an extraordinary six-course tasting menu, meticulously designed by the couple and the Executive Head Chef. Courses included Arancini with wild mushroom and truffle espuma, Parmesan beignet, Creedy Carver chicken with katsu and smoked almond, confit chalk stream trout with cucumber, parsley root, and caviar, and a perfectly cooked slow-roast fillet of beef, accompanied by potato fondant, spinach, braised shallot, and port jus.
Dessert unfolded in two parts: a refreshing pineapple carpaccio with coconut sorbet, lemongrass and passion fruit, followed by a decadent Valrhona chocolate custard slice with coconut gel and banana ice cream. Each dish was elevated by an expertly curated wine flight by the Wine Director, featuring thoughtful selections from Japan, France, Italy and Portugal. Together, the menu and pairings created an unforgettable dining experience.
