She’s back, the Coco Colour Palette is celebrating all things autumnal with a summer twist.

I love these first flushes of the new season, the weather interchanging between sunshiny days and fresh chills and the leaves slowly starting to bronze. It’s all a bit delightful in my opinion. Plus I get to pull on the snuggly jumpers every now and again and that’s my fave thing. Sorry to those summer chicks amongst you!

But today’s Rustic mood board isn’t full of the burnt oranges, berry purples and chocolate browns all traditionally associated with autumn days, instead I’ve gone lighter, softer and ummm… pinkier.

Autumn chills calls for a long sleeve and by golly let it be lace… I dream of this divine gown. For the boys play with pattern and texture, this dashing Groom in a three piece tweed suit with a subtle orange check and pops of pink works really well.

Florals should start to mirror autumn’s deeper tones and berries, but mixed with paler pinks and foliage it still whispers of summer. How luscious is this bouquet…?

An al fresco element to your wedding is still possible in these early autumn days, but make sure your guests are kept warm with cozy blankets. I love the colours of the ones above! Create a magical evening with twinkling tea lights suspended in trees or use lanterns to mark out pathways for your guests to explore on evening strolls.

Lastly… The venue. For a rustic touch and an autumnal warmth look to barns. Wood, bare brick, logs and the countryside are a perfect setting for any autumnal palette.

So do you like this take on autumn…?
