I, for one, love the autumn, and I’m not going to lie; I’m ready to embrace the cooler months. But if you love this second summer weather, this is for you! Think colourful florals, a baby blue suit and the prettiest table plan ever, all set in the beautiful estate of Rise Hall.
Rise Hall is one of Yorkshire’s largest privately owned Grade II stately country house venues offering exclusivity in the East Riding of Yorkshire, a short distance from Beverley. Exquisite interiors and unique styling, all exclusively for you and your guests to enjoy.
Rise Hall has 31 bedrooms, offering accommodation for up to 62 guests. Perfect for a wedding weekend, the house provides a home-from-home feel; relaxed luxury is what we do best! We can accommodate up to 180 seated for an outdoor ceremony and wedding breakfast in The Orangery. With ample grounds and views as far as the eye can see, the venue was ideal for capturing a quintessential English country garden-styled shoot.
The overall theme for the shoot was celebrating summer and colour! English Yorkshire countryside has so much to offer, with views, flowers and fresh air! With couples focusing on outdoor spaces, gardens and grounds for their weddings, we felt it was time to highlight the beauty that is East Yorkshire. The bright colours were chosen to give a fresh and vibrant feel against the natural greenery.

The colour palette was a tonal range of blues, purples, pinks, creams, greens and yellows.
The suit was a summer classic provided by Fallen Hero. Expertly tailored with lightly textured fabric, the pale blue colour is on trend and perfect for adding a colour pop to your groomsmen’s attire. Paired with a pink tie and a crisp white shirt, this is the ideal look for summer. The dress was an expression of delicate florals. Supplied by Elizabeth Lucas Bridal, the floral details matched the English country feel. The flow of the fabric gave a graceful and elegant touch. The designer Wtoo Watters’ take on this design was the perfect pairing with the light blue of the suit. Accessories were designed perfectly by Amore Headwear. A fresh and summery feel was the brief for both hair and make-up. Georgia created a light, summery look with a golden touch to the eye makeup and pretty lip colour to enhance Paige’s skin tone. A soft and relaxed style for bridal hair is so on-trend and a great way to bring a touch of tradition with a modern feel.

The styling of the décor was light, fresh and perfect for summer! The main focus was the outdoor ceremony with flowers. A focus point was created with a modern arch by Belle Bijoux. White ceremony chairs from Black Furniture Hire were also perfect for the setting. The styling continued through to an elegant tablespace, with bud vases, colourful candles, coloured glassware, garden-inspired crockery and a seating plan which could fit into a garden itself! A quirky floral umbrella finished the look!
Wonderland Blooms was a clear choice for the florals for this shoot! Their selection of florals, with a mix, gave a bright and vibrant feel. Adding colour to enhance the look was easy, and with blousy blooms, soft, delicate daisies, touches of greenery, and an English rose or two, the fresh flowers could have been picked from a meadow!
The outdoor ceremony at Rise Hall is available, and couples can certainly book a ceremony set in the gardens between May and September. Our team of dedicated events managers would be on hand to assist with the planning process and create the look from any concept the couple would like. The colour scheme and attire are all available!
