Exclusive use of Worton Hall from 10am to midnight on your wedding day, plus setup time the Friday.
Wedding consultation and wine tasting three months before your day.

Staging, dancefloor, lighting facilities and a staffed solid-oak bar.
Use of the farmhouse garden for an outdoor ceremony, if the Farmhouse is booked as accommodation.

Setting

There is a serene charm to Worton Hall, situated in the quaint hamlet of Worton, just five miles from Oxford. This idyllic venue sits at the edge of the Cotswolds, surrounded by gentle hills and scenic country walks. Originally a grain barn, it has transformed into an exclusive-use wedding venue, blending rustic character with contemporary style.

Worton Hall offers an all-inclusive wedding experience with cottage accommodation, in an idyllic rural farm setting.

Ceremony

Couples can host their entire wedding day in one exquisite venue. A grand wooden staircase guides guests to a spacious mezzanine, where up to 120 loved ones await the joyous union. The Main Hall is illuminated by a twinkling canopy of fairy lights, creating a magical backdrop for the ceremony.

For a charming alternative, couples may choose to start their vows from the rose-strewn doorway of the Grade II listed farmhouse. Here, they step into a cottage-style garden, making their way down a flagstone path towards the wedding pagoda, where guests eagerly anticipate their arrival.

Reception

There is a perfect harmony of rustic charm and modern elegance at Worton Hall, allowing couples to customise their reception according to their vision. The barn, with its stunning flagstone floor, arrow-slit windows, star-cloth curtain, fairy light canopy, and wooden chandeliers, provides a magnificent canvas for your celebration.

Guests can enjoy different aspects of the reception across three areas, all under one roof, ensuring a seamless flow of festivities. Couples can let their creativity flourish, tailoring every detail to reflect their love story.

Accommodation

Gather your loved ones and stay together in one or both of Worton Hall’s onsite accommodations, The Farmhouse (sleeps 22) and Stable Cottage (sleeps 4).

The Farmhouse is the perfect place to spend time with your nearest and dearest, revelling in the excitement the evening before your special day, then waking up and getting ready in total relaxation, knowing that your wedding location is mere steps away.

After a dreamy day of celebrating and dancing the night away, what could be better than walking the short distance across the courtyard and resting your head in the luxurious four-poster bed of Stable Cottage? A total sanctuary of relaxation, it’s the perfect wedding weekend bolthole.

Both on-site properties are reserved until six months before your special day, allowing you to add one or both properties to your booking.

Food & Drink

Food can be one of the most memorable elements of the day, so it’s important to get it just right for you both as a couple. With this in mind, Worton Hall has hand-selected three outstanding caterers who they wholeheartedly trust and admire. From rustic feasts to fine dining, and BBQ to grazing tables, their preferred caterers offer a wide range of options to suit all styles and budgets. They will make sure that the food on your special day is exactly as you imagined.

Worton Hall prides themselves on flexibility and believes that all weddings are personal to the couple and should represent them. Therefore, they do allow external catering should you feel another caterer would suit your event better.

The morning after your wedding, why not visit Worton Kitchen Garden, the onsite farm shop and café? Tucked away in its wild cottage garden, you can find fresh coffee, delicious food, and homegrown farm produce just a two-minute walk from where you would be staying.

Sustainability

There is a strong commitment to sustainability at Worton Hall. The venue operates in a park designed with environmental responsibility in mind. Biomass burners supply heating throughout the property, while a reed bed system efficiently treats and filters wastewater.

A picturesque lake on-site provides a natural habitat for local flora and fauna, enriching the surroundings and supporting the ecosystem.

The hall and the hayloft gallery are stunning, and our guests loved attending the whole wedding in one place. The huge stone floor was perfect for ceilidh dancing, and we loved that the room was simple but beautifully elegant. It was wonderful to stay on site the night before in the amazing farmhouse and stable cottage accommodation. This gave an extra special touch to the whole weekend. We absolutely loved celebrating getting married with our friends and family at Worton Hall. It’s such a beautiful venue with great spaces you can use in many ways. Tina was so helpful, and her team was brilliant throughout the process – making sure we knew exactly what we needed to sort out and what they were doing. Several of our guests commented on how friendly and great the staff were during our reception. Despite getting married in December and being unable to do much outside, we found the space at Worton perfect for taking photos, entertaining kids, eating food, and dancing the night away. It was just so fantastic to find a flexible venue to bring our vision to life. I cannot praise Tina enough – she goes above and beyond to make your dreams a reality, and we were so grateful!

This venue is stunning, the staff were incredibly helpful and made our day so special. We first found Worton Hall during covid, and the staff were very accommodating with virtual tours and re-arranging viewings due to illness. Every single member of staff was incredibly helpful and supportive. Especially Amelia who was truly amazing and made the day run so smoothly that we didn’t really have to worry about anything at all. We had a very rainy forecast for our day and Amelia made sure that we had multiple different plans in case we had to move inside due to the rain. We would highly recommend choosing Worton Hall for your wedding venue, not only because the venue itself is stunning but because the staff members are amazing and really do put everything into making sure the day is so special.

It goes without saying that Worton Hall is beautiful and set in the most idyllic of grounds (we knew as soon as we saw the hall that this was the place), but what we learned over the last few months is that that the real treasure is the staff (especially Catherine!) who despite our constant worrying and emailing handled every request with positivity and ease, and who soothed our troubled minds.

The set-up happened smoothly, our suppliers were easily facilitated, and the signage was lovely; Worton Hall is a dream to work with. Feeling in such good hands didn’t just make our preparations easier; it made our day better.

All our guests loved the venue, and you already know that a family friend booked another wedding because she saw how wonderful it is! Thank you for making this most important of days for us so easy and so perfect. We feel blessed to have had our wedding at Worton Hall.

We wanted a venue that would give us what was most important to us:

– An outdoor ceremony (with a lovely, flexible, back-up plan)
– A place for our families to come together the night before the wedding, and stay onsite
– A venue that was one room (very important to us) – to allow everyone to be together all night – not splitting into separate bar/chill rooms.

Worton Hall answered all the above, and both Kira and Amelia were the perfect coordinators. We were lucky to work with them both pre the wedding, and Kira and the wider team ran our event perfectly. Not a single hic-up or worry from us on the day. The venue allowed us to choose our wedding breakfast caterer, bring in external vendors for food trucks, and create our own dessert table (something many others wouldn’t allow). We were able to make a really late call whether to marry indoors or outdoors; a must with the British weather. Access was also given the day before the wedding, a full 5hrs access to set up and make the venue what we wanted. And Kira was on hand all day, supporting us with any questions, ensuring everything was as we wanted it.

Both Kira and Amelia are very caring and flexible, and they make you feel like the wedding is very much tailored to you. No request was too much for them, and we loved their personal approach to business.

Thanks for making our day – it was everything we could have asked for, and so much more!
